The Andaz is stylish but relaxed and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The staff are great, nothing is too much trouble. Spotlessly cean in a areas. We were upgraded and a little birthday cake awaited us in our room for my husband's birthday. Requests were dealt with immediately and we even got a tour of the hotel as we were interested in the history and architecture. The location is ideal. Well done Andaz for making our stay so enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's
vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a
quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week.

Location: Great!!! Within 10 minutes walk from Liverpool station when
figure out the way and actually another station Moorgate is just around
the corner. With marks and spender just opposite to the hotel, it makes
it more perfect! As can buy snacks / bottle water easily on our way
back to hotel. :)

Staff were good and attentive, good value if you are staying for a weekend as the City is shut, absolutely nothing open within a square mile! so be prepared to get a taxi into the lively parts of London, we paid a tenner each way into Covent Garden so based on the weekend saving it was worth it, have stayed in better 5* hotels than this but ok.

Excellent room with everything that a business traveler would need. Huge bed and luxury bedding and pillows. Polite staff and attentive to needs. Great location for business in London; easy for tube to anywhere (from Barbican, five minutes walk away). Last minute rate made it very reasonable cost for the undoubted quality. . -

Very comfortable and modern rooms. Older building repurposed so some quirkiness (corridors) but it just adds to the fun of the outing for me.

Superb hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Arrived early to leave my bags but was told there was a room available - not the best room but it was ready now. So I happily checked in and was taken to my room and shown a shortcut out rather than the maze through hotel. Room was slightly small but lovely. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was immaculate and very well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Ace in situated in a great neighborhood and conveniently located near the tube and bus. Lots of great restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Will certainly not stay anywhere else the next time I am in London. -

The gym, pool, sauna & steam room are all good & included in
rate we got. The staff were helpful & took time to help explain
there was engineering works on the district line & to use the
Metropolitan line from Aldgate to get to my destination Sunday morning.
Location is good for the east end of London as is only 5 mins walk from
Tower Bridge.
