  I have very seldom stayed in an inn that is as well managed as the Dog. The welcome was superb and the staff could not do enough to make me at home. The, the bar and serving staff are tru7ly excellent, the food very good indeed and the wine list well priced and excellent. Ate in the pub every evening as it was so good - with the staff not being able to do enough for us. Please stay here rather than in one of the typical chain hotels.
