Lo que la gente dice
I liked the location the converted cottages are right next to a pub. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food was excellent for dinner - good menu -linguine is highly recommended and bacon butties are available for breakfast.
Rooms maintained to a high standard.
The staff were all very courteous and nothing was too much trouble lively peaceful surroundings. Loved the outdoor eating area. Ample supply of tea and coffee. I used to stop at Premier Inn but will definitely be staying here from now on. todo comentarios »
Friendly helpful staff; coffee/tea in room; breakfast well-otganised and quick; evening meal very good; historic traditional buildings.
Staff really pleasant came across very natural.
Very nice clean rooms and we could take our dog
Lovely food
Great country walk nearby.
Nice welcoming and calm atmosphere, old world charm. Very helpful and friendly staff, without being over powering and intrusive.
Good selection of beers & location. Price was reasonable. Food
available all afternoon which was a bonus,.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I thought the food was very good and excellent value.
Perfect Location
Lovely Staff
Ease of booking in and out
Room quality - everything we needed.
Very helpful friendly staff
We did have a laugh getting me up the stairs!!!.
the manager Carl was very dedicated, nothing was too much trouble.
Very friendly place. Lovely comfy bed.
Friendly welcome, comfy bed, good breakfast, convenient location and good value for what I basically wanted - a late bed after attending my cousin's wedding in Milford.
The age of the place, such character. Beautiful buildings. The location was ideal for us.
Quiet, but food in the pub, easy to get work done, convenient etc.
The bed was very comfortable and the room warm.
Friendly / Characterfull.
Conveniently located.
Quiet.
The look of the building on the outside.
Close to the A3, easy to get too.
We did not like anything!.
Lack of wifi in rooms - Full English breakfast would be better than just
continental or bacon butty but I new that when stayed there.
Book an upstairs room as if you are down stairs it feels like you have a stables above you.
Very minor point - but with no WiFi in the rooms I was limited where I could do any work. However I understand the difficulties of a rural location so would not let it put me off returning or recommending to friends and family.
Was a bit hot with the heating on.
Nothing.
cleaners didn't do too good a job, but Carl was going to sort them out !!.
Can't think of anything really. Would stay again.
Especially bad, TV reception didn't work in the morning so I missed my team Chelsea's good win vs Cardiff on Match of the Day repeat at 7.30am Sun, and the Wi-Fi didn't work in Room 8. Grumpy staff at breakfast.
Creaky floorboards above us, but that comes with age. Bigger bathroom facilities.
Really difficult to get a taxi, but that's not to do with The Squirrel.
The pub was not open on Sunday evening when I arrived.
The room was cramped - very little room between the bed, loo and shower. There was no hair dryer and no list of meal times. I had to cross and recross a very freezing car park before I could get breakfast on Easter Sunday.
Washing facilities in the room somewhat cramped.
Nowhere to put soap, shampoo etc in the shower - a small corner soapdish would help enormously.
Staff just a little "dull" noisy room, minimal facilities in the room.
1. Toilet - very bad!
2. Rather far from the town. No public transportation, only taxi.
Terrible, mean breakfast.
Filthy carpets.
Overpriced for what it offered.
No satellite tv channels.
Blown lightbulb in bedside lamp.
Room not overly clean.
No bath towels on arrival (was offered 4 flannels to dry with after showering!!). Towels did arrive at 7:30pm but too late as we were ready to go out by then.
No tea bags or milk despite advertising as facilities to make tea.
The wrong key was first provided for the room.
Service seemed very 'amateurish'.
Continental breakfast was NOT provided, only cereal and toast.
Price was high for a 'good' class B & B, as it wasn't.
I was very disappointed.
The room in the cottage smelt, there was some mould on the walls the carpet was absolutely filthy. The breakfast was the worst we have experienced anywhere. After the state of the room, we really didn't feel like breakfast anyway we just wanted to get away from the place.
Very cold, very noisy floorboards, no bedside lights, poor breakfast.
Room not ready for two guests. Hot and cold water supply very erratic. Room not properly prepared after first night's stay. Some food not adequately cooked. Poor service on first morning for breakfast.
