  We haad a lovely couple of days here, the staff were very polite and freindly. We have stayed here before and would recommend this hotel.We chose it because we like to take our dog and they are dog freindly.   What a wonderful place you fell in love with the ambience of it the minute you walked in the door, the wonderful welcome by the host Mick with his sunny personality made you feel welcome the room we had was just completed., and it had all what we needed. Recommend it to anyone who just wants a nice comfortable atmosphere and in no need of - Mick was so hospitable and very friendly, I felt really welcome and didn't want to leave, it was a real 'home from home' so cosy and comfortable. The food is amazing and there's an extensive menu. Nothing is too much trouble and you are really well looked after. Great rooms with lovely views, very spacious and a fab shower plus loads of parking. A great place to stay whatever the season and whatever the weather! Loved it!

  We both enjoyed our room and the breakfast. The location was very good and we had a lovely view of the river. The staff were very professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Even letting us stay in the bar late not trying to clear up around us, as has been done in the past at other hotels. Thoroughly recommended.
