I liked the large car park at the back which is locked at night by a garage style door. It is very convenient. The bus stop to the city centre is nearby and the buses are frequent. I was staying to visit my husband in hospital and there is a bus straight to the QE about 10 mins walk away. There is a small Tesco opposite and a Post Office about 400m away.

  Great breakfast, location ( walking distance to Villa Park), friendly receptionist/waitress, price! We were able to leave the car parked the day we left at a price of 3 pounds instead of taking car to Villa Park. The room and bed were clean , as was the shower and toilet.   In a quiet residential area away from the main roads, with onsite parking and a short drive to Birmingham city centre. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and the lady was very helpful.   Rooms are very clean and nice, nice room design, private parking, caring manager Peter, funny kettle (need to include instructions of use ), not far form city centre - Staff and clientele were really warm and welcoming. It's a budget hotel so don't expect the ritz but I would definitely stay there again.
