The facilities were excellent on the site, although it was a shame that we could not use the spa on the Friday until after 3pm, despite checking in. The pool was fantastic though, and the various relaxation areas: salon, bar, conservatory were all nicely done and peaceful.
Free wifi was also a sensible inclusion in the price

This place is fantastic! A warm and cosy Traditionally styled Pub/Restaurant. There is ample parking right outside the entrance which we need for our enormous van. The Staff are 100% attentive and the service is quick too, the food and wine was particularly nice and at a reasonable price too. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the B

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food served was excellent. We so enjoyed our first evening meal that we returned for the second evening before we returned home. We were able to leave the car parked there while we used the bus, which stopped right outside the hotel, to visit St Albans.
