Excellent hotel from A-Z. As a frequent traveler i don't get overexcited easily, but this hotel really deserves the max points. If you have the chance, take the suite having two balconies with direct view of the Matterhorn - awesome and worth every single buck. Most amazing for Switzerland: Even the staff is super friendly and helpful! -

We loved the hotel and the location. The staff was very friendly and unquestionably efficient. The spa was first rate with an amazing pool, Jacuzzi and a northern style sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed this aspect. We made full use of the kitchen facility since we were a couple with 6 (hungry!)college age kids. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen. Hotel is ideally located near ski lifts. Staff was friendly and
attentive and offers free shuttle service to and from train station. The
room was comfortable, quiet, warm and clean and the view left us
speechless. Included breakfast offered a good variety of choices,
including dried meats, a local specialty. We will definitely return.

We were there off season so the staff was .limited but that did not stop them from providing excellent service, attending to our every need. The view is absolutely UNBEATABLE. You are practically on the Matterhorn. The gondola silently glides almost overhead from time to time offering excellent photos. I'm not sure if the view is better from the room or the restaurant/breakfast room.

Habitación amplia, buen desayuno, baño gigante. Y muy cerca de la estación de tren. - El personal del Hotel es bastante atento, hablan italiano, que para los españoles es mejor que el alemán que se habla en la zona. Está muy céntrico y cerca de la estación de tren y de los medios de acceso a las pistas. Muy bien en limpieza.

Being met by Cor at the station. Apartment had a good layout only one bathroom for 3 adults but we worked our way around that. View of Matterhorn from the apartment was awesome could not have been better. There was a COOP shopping centre below which had all your needs the Gornergrat station plus the train station were across the road
