We loved everything about this hotel - from its location, quietness of the area and beautiful landscapes, to the clean, comfortable room, good breakfast and gourmet kitchen. Although the rooms have no balcony, there is one common terrace where anyone can relax and enjoy a drink while admiring the beautiful mountains.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice location very close to Alpentherme
and Torrent cable car. The room was spacious and clean. Didn't have
the balcony because of the late booking, but anyway great views from
sparkling clean windows. Breakfast ok. Next door is Waldhouse hotel,
make sure you try their steak tartar with Memo assamblage wine. -

As the first room we checked into did not have a view of the Matterhorn, with Raymond and Gerald's assistance, our room was changed for the second evening of our stay, which had an incredible view of the Matterhorn! Stayed for 2 nights and used as a base to explore Zermatt and the matterhorn glacier trail, glacier paradise and gornergrat. It is a short walk between hotel and the regular zermatt shuttle train. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere in the bar/restaurant. Very good breakfast. Nice room. Good facilities. Really enjoyed out short stay here. Even let us keep our car on the premises for the full day of check out at no cost.
