around Sri Lanka. It has lovely large rooms, beautiful design, great
beach location, and not very big -- nice boutique hotel. It's
proximity to Galle made it easy to travel there and back as with young
kids we didn't want to do Galle all in one day.

From the moment we arrived in the quaint town of Hikkaduwa we were met with 5* hospitality! A member of the Villa Tara staff had been waiting for us from the main street all day to guide us up the gorgeous windy village track, across the local railway line, to the most beautiful hidden villa on this little off street path.

The staff was very friendly. The manager was a very nice guy that took time to explain many places to go during my stay in Sri Lanka and gave me the map that he had hanging on the wall in his quarters . The night air was cool and very quiet. You can just barely hear the sea. If you lay at night you will see fruit bats flying above head, and the tranquil sound of nature buzzing.

we really enjoyed in sri lanka, most specially at Nipon Villa Hikkaduwa. well trained staff and feel at home policy you don't find easily at other places. swimming pool is so close to the sea, just the waves are missing.nothing to say about the bar and the louange. european standards !!!!
