Very friendly staff, don't forget: it's a hoStel, not a hotel. Not that comfy, but clean, situated next o the subway, close to the city, with clean sheets and a bed. Breakfast is for free, which is awesome for people that are travellin on a budget and just need to get some toast into their tummy:) I liked the fact that its a a former flat, feels like u really live there!

We stayed in the 4 person apartment and all of the beds were very comfortable. The private bathroom was awesome because it has two sections. One with a sink and toilet and one with a sink and shower. Es un hostal que no cuenta con lujos pero que tiene un trato acogedor y una decoración que hace que te sientas como en casa. Los clientes por lo general son muy respetuosos, cosa difícil en una habitación en la que duermes con otras 11 personas. Todo está limpio y el personal es muy atento. Lo recomiendo totalmente. -

The Polish lady on reception when I checked in was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious for a single. The fan provided made up for the slightly stuffy atmosphere. Great outside communal terrace.

The staff is definitely friendly and helpful when you have questions. They are knowledgeable and willing to help you all the time.
The room I stayed in clean and comfy, the shower is great and separated for male and female which gives security of usage.

Probably the best staff during our European trip. They're so helpful and friendful for everything. Clean rooms and good price for Barcelona standarts. Free Wifi everywhere. Useful lobby allows people to get in touch. So close to Sants Train Station and underground metro station. And also very close to Camp Nou for Barça fans.

We stayed for just one night and arrived around 11 in the night. Stayed in 14 bed dorm.
There was someone on reception to attend us and show us around and make us feel comfortable.
The beds were decent and clean bedding was provided. No towels though. Lockers were good size. Dorm was big and spacious.

I took the train from Madrid to Barcelona and stayed here. Its close enough to walk from the station (I only had a backpack though), checked in and got my keys, and the rest was cake. Cool loc

The very central location of Urbany made it very easy to reach for the top landmarks and sightseeing.
Very easy to reach from the BCN airport; A1 bus from the airport till Place De Catalunya, then a 3 minutes walk through the Gran Via street to the hostel.
The place is more of a youth hostel and suitable for budget travelers.
