This is a very nice, tastefully-furnished, quiet Guest House on the far west side of Hermanus, 2 blocks from Grotto Beach. I can't imagine why anyone would stay in town, as there is no beach there, only rocks, and a lot of people. When I arrived, I walked to the beach in the late afternoon and was immediately hooked.

Jose and other staff were very friendly and helpful. He even booked our shark diving tour when our operator let us down. Breakfast was lovely, room big and heaters a thoughtful touch as chilly at night. Shower was huge and plenty of hot water. This isnt the cheapest guesthouse in the area, but certainly has the service. I would highly recommend.

The location is very convenient just across from the walking path along the coastline into the town center of Hermanus. The friendly and helpful lady who looked after us made our stay a happy
one. She called the whale watching company for us, without being asked,
to check whether our trip was cancelled because of the weather, and was
able to recommend a good place to eat when we arrived late the first
night. Nothing seemed too much for her. -

This is a gorgeous guest house. Our room was so confortable and large, it had the best bathroom I ever experienced in a hotel with 1 big bath and 2 fantastic showers! Ina, the owner was very friendly - like the rest of the staff - and made us feel at home. Breakfast was excellent, service beyond expectations. We loved it.

On that winter night, the owner also brought us hot water pack which really helped to keep us warm.
On the next day, my husband fell sick. The owners were very helpful. They gave us medicine and provided the direction to the nearest pharmacy. -

very spacious room, like the bathroom. very clean. quiet neighborhood and near the center of Hermanus (5 minutes by car). the lady who runs the guest house 'was very nice and welcoming, as always we found in south africa.
We visited several cities along the garden route (as well as within the near Kruger), but hermanus has something special. 'a city' fantastic. cliffs, beaches, mountains.
