The location behind the Hermitage, just off the beginning of the Nevski Prospect, a stone's throw from St Isaac's Cathedral, was perfect.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The amenities were as good as could be expected.
It was SAFE.

we stayed in a two-room apt. The beds were comfy, the shower also fine. the rooms are clean, except for the corners of the shower cabin. very central. -
Location is great (the most famous street in the city). Everything in the city centre is close. The studio we took was large and clean. And it was quiet.
