Narusawa Lodge - Fotos
Lo que la gente dice
An increadibly great place! Typical Japanese-style rooms. Very clean and
very quiet, a paradise after coming from Toyko. In foot-walking distance
to the train stations and also to the sightseeing spots, although there
are busses. And the owner, Yuji-San, is the most friendly and kindest
hotel owner I ever met in my life, although I travelled a lot in usa and
Europe. Yuji-san was so kind to bring me in his car to an Onsen in the
mountains, a small place without tourists. There you stay in the op. todo comentarios »
+ Yuji and his family were very good hosts
+ The room I was in had a heater, and was very clean and comfortable
+ Unlimited tea and coffee, and very nice bathing facilities
+ It rained on my last day, and Yuji generously gave me an umbrella to keep, 500 yen to store my luggage at the station so I could walk around more, and a ride back to the station :)
+ Yuji gave rides to the onsen nearby, which had both outdoor and indoor baths, and great ice cream
+ Good western breakfast with salad, eggs,.
It is a quaint little lodge just outside the city center beside a stream which was the only sound you could hear at night. For country lovers this is perfect, it is an old lodge so can get cold but there is plenty of heating units around to combat that. The best part of our stay in Narusawa Lodge was the owner Yugi, he is very friendly and polite and even gave us lifts to the center when we were off for dinner and to the train station after we checked out, highly recommend staying here when com.
The Narusawa Lodge is a family run Japanese style B&B. The host is
very friendly and helpful. He offers his guest the drive them to a
nearby onsen in the evening (and of course to pick them up again). They
serve a western style breakfast which was good. The room was large and
comfortable. The shared bath and toilets were clean. They even had
wifi. The house is somewhat offside which means it takes about a 15 min
walk from the train station but it also means that it is really quiet
in the ni.
We were welcomed by Yugi offering us hot tea. He showed us the facilities including a dining room, microwave, hot tea, cold water, plates, cups, silverware - everything we needed to eat the food we had brought with us. A refrigerator and freezer were available for us to use. Sleeping Japanese-style on the floor was surprisingly comfortable. We could hear the soothing sound of a creek when our window was open. We enjoyed our visit. His neighbor had the most amazing Christmas lights on.
Yogi ;An owner have an excellent skill in English and really helpful for tourist. even though this place is a little bit too far for station but i didn't consider is as an disadvantage because of Yogi's kindness to pick me up after called. About guestroom, i lived in family room which is suitable for 4 person. the room is clean and warm. located at front of mountain and near wellspring is great for relax.
It was so nice! The staff was super friendly and nice! I really loved it!
Great value! It wasn't in the center of the city but if you walk, it was about 15 minutes from the station and for that price, I really don't mind a little walking :)
The room was clean and the owner was so nice!
There were complimentary tea and coffee there! Really great!.
The owner of the Lodge is a very friendly man Yuji. He's really
hospitable and a great storyteller! Always ready to help. As for the
Lodge itself, it's located close to the station, on a quiet street.
The house is warm and the room in Japanese style was clean and
comfortable. I had great time there!.
Yuji, the owner of the lodge, was the most helpful and hospitable host I have ever met. The lodge is quite a way out of towwn but we liked its location up in the hills where it was very peaceful. Yuji recommended an onsen and drove us there - do go if you get the chance!.
The manager, Yuji, was very friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgable about the area and its history and his English is quite good. I bicycled the 125 km up from Tokyo and the hot spring he took a small group of us to in the evening was great for relaxing.
The owner Yugi was fantastic! Very helpful. He gave us a lot of
information on the area as well as how to get places. He even offers to
drive you to the local onsen for no charge. Great friendly and clean
place to stay.
+++The owner Yuji speaks English and is very friendly. He drove us to an onsen for the night as well to the train station the next day.
++Clean Comfortable Japanese style rooms.
++Extremely good value for the money.
Breakfast was great. The owner was friendly, fetch and brought us from and to the station. Big enough room. Clean toilets and baths. Great for a budget accomodation. The owner speaks good english!.
The owner is very friendly, and makes your visit a pleasure. Very happy to help with all kinds of information, and a free ride to the onsen, etc. Place was very nice, simple and clean.
Room is nice and cozy. Guesthouse is nice and well-decorated. Owner is great and helpful. Continental Breakfast is nice also as we will not have much choice in the town.
Yuji, the owner, took us by car to the best onsen in the area. The last day we were late to take the train, and again Yuji drove to the station, and we were in time!.
The owner of the lodge is very friendly and offers guests a drive whenever needed! Thanks.
Free tea and coffee.
The owner Yuji is very nice and helpful. We had a good stay with a very beautiful scenery. Highly recommended.
Jiro is so great. I love his cute memo for travellers. They help a loooooot.
Very close to a river and WiFi in the room. Nice spa.
The friendliness and the willingness to always help.
Owner is very good & friendly.
Personal attention from the owner.
It was a nice lodge.
The owner he is verry kind.pick up and send customer from train station and helpful the traveler.
upstairs rooms are nice.
The rooms are in traditional Japanese style with beds on a Tatami floor.
The owner Yuji is very nice and helpful. He took us to a Japanese sauna (Onsen) and gave us multiple rides during our stay.
Friendly staff, when you like it the staff brings you to an onsen,
beautifull surroundings, an common room with nice opportunety to sit and
talk to other travellers.
The hospitality of the owner and the traditional japanese bath.
This happens really rarely, but there is nothing to criticize.
Everything was great!.
- the walk uphill to the ryokan is not super easy if you have a heavy piece of luggage, and if there is snow on the ground. I would also not recommend trying to walk it in the snow when the sun has already set.
this place don't have in room bathroom. this mean that you must to sometime wait until it is vacant.
The toilet was a little small, but other then that there isn't anything to complain about.
The outside looks a little shabby, but the interior is actually quite nice, clean and comfortable. It's a little bit of a hike into town, but worth it.
-It got a little cold during the night, while the rooms and the hallway have several space heaters, the bathroom is not heated.
-Location is a bit further from the station but I knew that when I booked.
The pillows were a bit hard.
Location need a bit of walking from the station, around 10 mins walk.
The location is 10 min walk from the train station and outside Nikko city.
The place is not isolated at all. It may therefore be cold to dinne in the kitchen.
A bit far from town but if you love nature it is a right place to stay.
Had to share toilet.
A tad hard to find, but thats probably our fault. Should have called for the pickup.
A bit outside of town.
His loudge did not set hester in system. When the weahther going down it was really cold when we goes away from hester.
bathroom at ground floor should be renewed and cleaned.
The room likes dirty and I just feel uncomfortable.
No breakfast possibilities. It's not possible to have an individual bathroom.
The shower and the commonroom could be a little bit cleaner.
You have no privacy at all, the rooms are totally not sound isolated. The heaters are using propane bhutan and the smell of it is everywhere.
Just feel uncomfortable.
