Very nice place, high level of service, nice and friendly staff, located just a few steps from the square in front of Il Duomo. Close to restaurants, shopping and Culture. Parking free of charge in the street below, worked perfectly with direct access from the hotelelevator. Wifi worked perfectly, fast access. Nice view over the Ragusa valley. Borgo San Rocco is a truly magical place. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and we felt at home instantly. The staff and owners are so friendly, and helpful they make you feel a very welcome guest in their beautiful resort that they love as much as we did. The peace and quiet is amazing and the views are just beautiful. To sit on the balcony in the evenings as the sun goes down, listening to the church bells as the swallows swoop into the valley below is just heaven. We loved exploring

Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh.
Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

We had the most incredible time here. The location is great - close
enough to the nearby beaches and towns to do day (and night) trips. The
pool and surrounding area with orange trees, lounges and day beds is so
peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. On top of this
the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention must also
go to the owner who really went out of her way to make our stay
something to remember. We are already planning our next visit!!

My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Beautiful, quiet location and accommodation. Very very relaxing stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful in finding out the best places to visit based on our preferences.
Would also recommend eating at the residence at the weekend as they serve dinner which was local cuisine and excellent value for money.
