Borgo San Rocco is a truly magical place. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and we felt at home instantly. The staff and owners are so friendly, and helpful they make you feel a very welcome guest in their beautiful resort that they love as much as we did. The peace and quiet is amazing and the views are just beautiful. To sit on the balcony in the evenings as the sun goes down, listening to the church bells as the swallows swoop into the valley below is just heaven. We loved exploring

Very nice place, high level of service, nice and friendly staff, located just a few steps from the square in front of Il Duomo. Close to restaurants, shopping and Culture. Parking free of charge in the street below, worked perfectly with direct access from the hotelelevator. Wifi worked perfectly, fast access. Nice view over the Ragusa valley. I would lika to come back. Can be highly recommended!

Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

Such an amazing place! Wonderful hotel, beautiful pool and lounge-garden. Very nice modern design with still a lot of atmosphere. Huge breakfast with lots of savory and sweet dishes. We had the most incredible time here. The location is great - close
enough to the nearby beaches and towns to do day (and night) trips. The
pool and surrounding area with orange trees, lounges and day beds is so
peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. On top of this
the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention must also
go to the owner who really went out of her way to make our stay
something to remember. We are already planning our next visit!!

Just perfect ! Lot's of space, TV, nice bath and shower, huge terrace with chairs and table, little kitchen, good break-fast, very friendly at the reception. Just at the end of the main street in Lipari. Restaurants and bars in the surroundings. - Everything was excellent: very friendly staff, closed to the harbor and restaurants, very comfortable

From the hospitality and comfort of checking in (sitting on the balcony drinking a complementary wine) to the fantastic breakfast...and all the special touches in between (shuttle service, internet)...the best hotel I have ever stayed at.

The room was superb. - I had high expectations for this hotel, but we were still blown away by the conscientiousness of the staff, attention to detail in the rooms, and overall sense of precision. This is a lovely and very special place, and the breakfast doesn't disappoint! Even as a vegan, I found myself with more delicious options than can be properly sampled in a single meal. And a great view of Etna, too!

If you are looking for paradise on earth, the Belvedere is it! The hotel
is located in a beautiful enchanted location. Francesca, the host, is

hotel built into an historic building. The room was adequate in size and
amenities. Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to

My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! It was just perfect, wish we would have stayed here longer. Gioiosa Marea is a hidden gem far away from mass tourism, the beautiful seaview from the train station felt like a red carpet. You get a free pick-up (and drop-off) up in the hills where it is situated. I think it's a family company, everyone is so warm and welcoming, especially the 'lady

Beautiful, quiet location and accommodation. Very very relaxing stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful in finding out the best places to visit based on our preferences.
Would also recommend eating at the residence at the weekend as they serve dinner which was local cuisine and excellent value for money.
