Wonderful people who are so accomodating and kind. The room was beautiful , elegant, clean and warm, the location of the hotel was perfect in the charming historic center. We stayed in old part of hotel. Had just been freshly painted and was spotlessly clean. Brilliant location close to cathedral and very quiet. Had been told old part didn't have air conditioning, but it did and it worked efficiently. Room was modest, but cleaned each day and better than we had expected, given its 2 star status. Would definitely recommend it.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and a lovely breakfast was provided. The staff were all friendly and polite. I was especially impressed with Lara. She was so welcoming and friendly and made me feel right at home. She was able to answer numerouse questions for me and was most helpful. -
As it was late in the season, the city was not crowde

Hotel was well located for visiting Lucca walled city. Close to shops and 10 mins taxi ride from the train station. Hotel staff were helpful and room was quite basic but clean and comfortable -
