A relaxed, friendly, family owned hotel. Perfectly situated in Cogne. Wonderful Italian food. Unfortunately we don't speak Italian but the lovely waiters were so helpful and made an effort to translate for us. As a vegetarian I had plenty of choice. Fabulous spa facilities.Free local buses into nearby valleys mean you can start walks at a higher level. Excellent National Park Centre and Mining Museum in nearby village (catch free bus there and walk back). Good walking map from Tourist I

What a special place to stay! From the moment we arrived everyone was so welcoming, the family who run the hotel and reception staff in particular Claudia who spoke excellent English. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a superior room which was very comfortable and spacious. We ate here every night because the food was excellent. Angelo the owner

The staff. Our main language is English and we only speak basic Italian. Most of the staff spoke some English and if they didn't they quickly found someone who did. The breakfasts were excellent and we enjoyed each of the evening meals we had in the hotel. If we didn't finish a bottle of wine it was kept for us and put on our table the following evening.
