  What a special place to stay! From the moment we arrived everyone was so welcoming, the family who run the hotel and reception staff in particular Claudia who spoke excellent English. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a superior room which was very comfortable and spacious. We ate here every night because the food was excellent. We have stayed in some 5 star hotels over th - The staff. Our main language is English and we only speak basic Italian. Most of the staff spoke some English and if they didn't they quickly found someone who did. The breakfasts were excellent and we enjoyed each of the evening meals we had in the hotel. If we didn't finish a bottle of wine it was kept for us and put on our table the following evening.

Perfectly situated in Cogne. Wonderful Italian food. Unfortunately we don't speak Italian but the lovely waiters were so helpful and made an effort to translate for us. As a vegetarian I had plenty of choice. Fabulous spa facilities.Free local buses into nearby valleys mean you can start walks at a higher level.   We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Hotel Sant'Orso. Staff very efficient and friendly and stunning mountain surroundings with great hiking opportunities. Great spa! Highly recommended. - The staff were warm and very friendly. They were very attentive. Spa area and treatments were superb.
