This was our favorite B&B on our two week trip. The house is comfortable, and the family could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The extra touch of high tea and scones with the best cream ever really made us happy to arrive. Beautiful location!

What makes Athy special first and foremost is the couple who run this family home. They made us feel very welcome and shared their personal story of their house and its amazing georgian history with us. The house in itself is beautiful and takes one back in time..our master bedroom was incredibly comfortable with lovely bathroom soaps and shampoos

family wedding close by We had an excellent stay from the moment we
arrived with the welcoming scones to the breakfast just before we had to
reluctantly leave.The hosts were always attentive to our every need
including fresh milk at our bedroom door in the morning. We have no

I stayed with my boyfriend for three nights in Moate House. We were staying in a separate part to the rest of the lodgers. This meant that we had our own private kitchen where we could cook dinner if we wanted. There was also a living area and a huge bedroom with one double, two singles and an ensuite bathroom with a huge shower! It was so lovely to have so much space to ourselves. Simply superb, could not fault any aspect of our stay. From the staff on reception through to those in the restaurant we found them all to be friendly, helpful and accomodating. A wide selection of delicious food, the fillet steak is a must.

The room was much larger than I anticipated. The reception staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel more than met my expectations, and everything was of a much higher standard than I expected for the price! If I am staying in the area again I will be returning to Lawlors, and I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends.

When we were registered, we were escorted to our accommodation by a lovely young lady who was extremely friendly, courteous and very helpful indeed. We did not get a chance to have dinner in the restaurant, but we did have breakfast prior to our departure and it absolutely excellent and inexpensive. Our server, as before was extremely efficient and friendly. Overall, we were made welcome from start to finish (not surprising as I wouldn't expect any less from Kildare folk) and we look forward

I have to admit i stayed here a month ago and gave this place a poor rating due to the fact there were not many about for whatever reason. This time my rating has increased as i saw a totally different approach and this was a big improvement to come back again.

Everything. The Staff were extremely professional and still managed to be warm and friendly. The food was absolutely excellent and the hotel and surround were sumptuous. My stay at your hotel was probably the most enjoyable break I have ever had and I am a seasoned traveler so this is based on worldwide comparison.
