Our host Mary was exceptionally friendly and gave us a big welcome on arrival, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, beautiful location, a homely feel without anyone being intrusive, bedroom was an excellent size with turn down service at night with a chocolate left on pillow each evening, a nice surprise. -

Stayed in this B&B in August during the Puck Fair festival. The B&B is in a great location, in the middle of the Village but not noisy and not far from beach. Plenty of room for car parking also. Friendly owner. One recommendation from other guests that she passed on to us is that for an evening meal the Rumours Bistro across the road is good. And we found that to be the case -good food and well presented; the Early Bird menu of starter, main course, and tea or coffee was Euro 15.95. Our room had a sea view in the distance so that, with camera on zoom, we could take sea/sunset photos straight from the window.

My group also stayed at Dromoland Castle and we all agreed that our stay at Ballygarry House was more enjoyable. The rooms were very comfortable.The price was reasonable. The staff from check in to check out were most gracious and professional. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Their attention to detail was excellent. Very friendly and efficient in all areas - girls on reception/waiters, etc. Used the Spa, and it was a beautiful experience. Would do it all again! - The food is amazing, I would definatley recommend eating in the restaurant. The therapists in the spa are top class and there is a beautiful vitality suite.

We loved everything about the Muckross Park! We spent two nights for our wedding anniversary and felt thoroughly looked after and spoiled. Right from the minute we arrived and were met by Ted the concierge, who was knowledgeable and friendly to the reception and bar staff. It really made our whole trip and we will return without a doubt.

Probably the best hotel stay I've ever enjoyed. The breakfast is definitely the best breakfast I've had anywhere in the UK or Ireland - simply amazing. Stayed in a self catering holiday home, the house had everything you could need in it, it was perfect for us and the 3 kids. the kids had their own rooms, which they loved! and there was even a sofa bed downstairs for an extra friend.The pool was great for the kids, and staff really friendly. kenmare itself is a great spot, lovely pubs, restaurants
