What can I say? A beautiful house set in a beautiful position on the side of Lough Neagh. The welcome was very warm and the accommodation and breakfast were immaculate.
Elizabeth was very helpful and had good knowledge of the surrounding area and gave us good information on restaurants and walks etc.

It was my first time to stay with Malmaison Hotel. When I got in to the room wow it looks beautiful, romantic, cozy and very clean. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I love the dry Cereal that the chef cook. I hope we could get that as a gift or to have it at home very tasty.
The cocktail drinks at the bar is perfect and not too expensive.

We were thrilled with our stay at Ashlea House. Our room was spacious and cheerfully decorated, with a great view of the harbour. Thoughtful additions were made to the typical tea tray, such as cappuccino mix and biscuits. Most impressively, when we told Geraldine, the hostess, that we were in a bit of a hurry to leave due to our travel plans, our breakfast came out more quickly than I even thought possible. Going home . We left early as beds were uncomfortable . owner was unfriendly and when we left had only wore a dressing gown and didnt speak . Place only suitable for two people . Bed and sofa bed need replaced. It shouldnt even have one star . Owner needs to b up early to get fullyclothed. -

The Derrin was very convenient to both the Ferry and the downtown area. Immaculately clean and a great owner/staff. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the pricing is very good. Most importantly, we would return for another visit should the need arise to visit Larne and use the ferry services. It would definitely be our first choice!

Derrin Guest House is a lovely place and was quite relaxing for my husband and me. We were a late booking, but the proprietor was still more than willing to work with us and arrange for an early breakfast the following morning. The location is ideal for anyone wishing to take the ferry over to Scotland and is conveniently close to the port.

The front of house staff were were efficient and friendly when we checked-in and were throughout our stay. They had local knowledge of the area which helped us with our plans. The restaurant and bar staff were also very friendly and helpful especially Kevin.
The room had most of the facilities we needed and was very large and spacious with three beds in it (we only needed a double!)
The views of our room were of the sea and coastline which was stunning
The rooms were very clean and well equip

This B&B is outstanding and as good as many 5 star hotels. Room and ensuite were spacious & beautifully appointed. Luxury bedding & towels. Breakfast superb - fruit freshly prepared, porridge lovely, excellent hot choices. Host very friendly and helpful regarding local knowledge. I don't know what you could do to experience a better B&B than this. Having spent 4 weeks in B&Bs in UK & Ireland this one beats them all by a long way.
