The rooms were basic but very clean. The facilities in general were very clean. Disc parking right outside the door. There was a nice atmosphere within the hostel. Staff were very present and welcoming. -

Kinlay House is a travellers' hostel, so it's a lively place with lots of young backpackers passing through. It's practically next door to the Bells of Shandon (which you can ring, if you like). Staff was very friendly, gave recommandations what to visit and where to go. We got a luxury room while we didn't asked for it, just because it was available. Very clean and cosy.

As soon as you arrive, you are given fresh, home-made scones, danishes, and fresh tea and coffee. Wonderful service from a wonderful BandB! - The staff were very friendly. Hot tea, coffee and cakes on arrival were lovely. The breakfasts were brilliant, with as much as you could eat. The room was great with a big king size bed and very clean, also with fruit in the room. Absolutely brilliant stay.
