  Ideal first stop after ferry journey to Rosslare. We were welcomed warmly and given the location of a convenient spot for dinner. The guest house was set in beautiful grounds and the whole place felt warm and welcoming. - On arrival we received a very friendly welcome from Olive.   This is an excellent place. We were very impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was loads of space on the grounds - a tennis court, a farm walk, lawns. Great place to relax and get away from it all. Because it's limited in the number of rooms the breakfast experience is even better - no bustle of crowds, and the food was great ... lo que la gente dice » (some of it home-produced from the farm). Even let us take our son out to see the cows being milked in the morning. There was also a small field for - Loved it! Kathleen was so warm and inviting and so was her Country home. We loved every moment we spent there!! The children had many things to entertain themselves. The breakfast was amazing as well. There is so much charm all around that you can't help get taken away by it. Our favourite stop in all of our nights in Ireland!!

  We had stayed before so knew what to expect.We always enjoy staying at the Danby Lodge.It is always comfortable,clean and the staff are exceptional in caring for you,nothing is too much trouble.The other advantage to staying there is that the food is always good at either dinner or breakfast.As I sometimes travel alone I always feel safe there. - ... lo que la gente dice » Very friendly and helpful staff. The bar / restaurant was not much to look at, but the food was very good. There was a small play area outside with swings and climbing area, which was good for entertaining a young child. Also a big lawn / grassy area for running around at one side of the hotel.

  Chef Chris absolutely loves, and is justifiably very proud of, the food he serves. We stayed in Archways last year and received the very same warm welcome from Eileen and Chris. We highly recommend Archways to anyone looking for 1st Class accommodation and facilities! D&M McG - Fantastic friendly hosts who really looked after you.
