  This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at in recent memory. The quality of service and hospitality was second to none. No hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants a relaxing and comfortable stay in Kenmare. Fresh towels every day, turn down service, bathrobes and slippers and very large bed. It is also walking distance to 'town', has a lovely restaurant and the best breakfast we've yet had on our 3 week holiday! Very friendly, helpful staff.

  Lovely friendly staff who greeted us each time and were really helpful and chatty. It had a family feel which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and a full cooked breakfast was included in the room rate, not just a continental. The room was very comfortable and clean. There was also parking out - Stayed 1 night so that we would have an early start on our drive around the Ring of Kerry. Lansdowne was the perfect hotel for our brief stay. The staff was very friendly and even though there was no elevator, the staff was more than helpful in carrying very heavy bags up the beautiful staircase. I would definitely recommend to anyone that they stay at this fine hotel.

  Stayed in a self catering holiday home, the house had everything you could need in it, it was perfect for us and the 3 kids. the kids had their own rooms, which they loved! and there was even a sofa bed downstairs for an extra friend.The pool was great for the kids, and staff really friendly. kenmare itself is a great spot, lovely pubs, restaurants... lo que la gente dice » . Pity we couldnt stay longer, will def. go back! - We stayed in a self catering unit. Loved everything. Wonderful location- very central. Excellent value for money. Beautifully laid out.

  The Lodges were excellent, very well kitted to a high spec. Loved the touch of the fire log left for guests plus the tea/coffee/milk - very welcoming. - New and excellent place to stay.   My husband and I, with our 2 children (10 and 8) have just returned from a 2 week stay there and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was well furnished with modern conveniences with spectacular views of the mountains of South Kerry.
