  The hotel location, easy access to the surrounding sights, interests and easy motorway access. Close to various eating establishments. The room was very good, hospitality hard to beat and very friendly. Nice big shower and plenty of hot water.. The sitting area was very comfortable with all one could require including a kitchen with coffee and teas. A 2 minute walk and we found ourselves in Trappers Pub ready for a good pub dinner. Gerry was very helpful making sure everything was to our liking.

  They were very friendly and gave me a discount as I was a single in the room despite it being a double room. The atmosphere was excellent as well. - Close to town and train/bus station. Decorated with native American Indian artefacts and old cowboy film memorabilia.

  The Salt Hill Location itself is nice village, with a variety of restaurants. We tried Black Cat which was great for lunch but service a little slow during dinner. The fish and chips shop is great too for takeaways. I pick up my morning coffee from Gourmet Tart Company next door (they open at 7:30am). We had stayed in some wonderful hotels and were unsure about our stay in an apartment. It was a great choice. Not only was it convenient to Galway city center, but to a delightful area called Upper Salthill. Wonderful pubs and restaurants just around the corner!
