I was put in a room with hardly any wifi signal. I asked if I could have another room as I really needed Internet access and they were very helpful and accomodated my request. Breakfast included fresh fruits and other healthy stuff. Don't like the full Irish breakfast and this was a welcome change. -

Everything about Heather Lodge was fantastic. Jane, the owner, and her family are just incredible people. The lodge was simply great and the best experience was that checking in and out was based on trust. Of course breakfast was wonderful and the view of the lake from our family room a bonus. We will be happy to return the someday when we visit again.

We have found now with two kids we are very restricted in a hotel room, but its very expensive (and usually impossible) to get a holiday rental for less than a week. We liked the location - very close to Clifden but far away enough for some peace and tranquility. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Our only regret was that as we were in Clifden for a concert we didnt have time to have dinner in the restaurant - it looked superb! We will definately be back! -

Spacious, comfortable room, extremely comfortable beds (I even asked where she bought the matresses!). It was very reasonable for what was on offer, the welcome was warm and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the house was spotless! All three of us slept like logs - I couldn't praise it more highly as a B&B. Highly recommended! -

Wonderful warm and knowledgeable hosts, very clean and comfortable accommodation. A real joy and very pretty surroundings. Loved the collie dog, Lady, which escorted us on our walk to the cliffs, even though in was pouring rain! ;) Nice scenic 10 minute drive to Clifden town - with wonderful pubs, Irish music and good food.

Gorgeous modern spacious apartment with so much provided you only need to pack your clothes. Luxurious home from home. Fabulous location and owner a pleasure to deal with. Moved on to a 4* hotel in Westport and regretted having left the apartment ever since! Nothing could compare well against this beautiful apartment.
