I stayed in Santa Marina Plaza more than a week at the beginning of September 2013. I liked wonderful view from my terrace (front sea view room) and the beach. Very convinient location - not far from Chania and with many shops and restaurants near the hotel.

They have brand new mattresses of good quality! Not to hard and not to soft.
Although start of the season, they had allready filled the pool.
The grounds are very well maintained.
Free Wifi is available. Maybe not yet in all the rooms. But at the pool and in the lounge/lobby it works fine.
Everybody is motivated to make sure you have a wonderfull time.

The staff were fantastic, the rooms were large and we were lucky enough to have a seaview. The all inclusive rate was so good. The meals were very nice and it is a magic location. I rarely take the time to write reviews but Megaron was so exceptional that I felt compelled to comment. The service, room, breakfast buffet are extraordinary! It's the first all-female run 5-star hotel I've stayed in from manager, dining maitre d' to porters. Παρά πολύ καλό φαγητό με μεγάλη ποικιλία και στα γλυκά. Δεν σας κρύβουμε ότι πήραμε μερικά κιλάκια. Το προσωπικό στο εστιατόριο πάρα πολύ εξυπηρετικό, γρήγορο και πρόθυμο. Ιδιαιτέρως ο Νίκος η Χριστίνα, η Μαρτίνα και μαζί τους βεβαίως η μετρ, η κυρία Ρένα. Η θέα φοβερή και ο ύπνος βαθύς.
