Having arrived late on a ferry into Heraklion, we were warmly welcomed by Yannis into his hotel with pizza and beers. From then on Yannis continued to be extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean with excellent facilities. We particularly loved the food which was delicious for breakfast and dinnerthe three nights we stayed, everything freshly prepared with homemade jams, bread etc. and vegetables and herbs from the gardens. Our room was very comfortable with the facility to make coffee and watch the mountains, so relaxing! It is perfect place to walk, eat and relax. Zaros just a two minute drive away if you need supermarket or bank.

It's really spacious with 3 bathrooms, very comfortable. We stayed with children and it's the best think you can do. Thanks a lot to Giorgiou and his family for warm welcome and excellent wine and Rakki. It's close to Rethymno where beaches are just fine. The villa has beautiful view to both the sea and the mountains. Beautiful place. Recommended.

The villa is well accessorized for all family needs, and it seems like a real effort was done to make the visitor stasfied.
The 3 bedrooms that are on the second floor are big and weill suit the whole family.

Absolutely exquisite.
Room was beautifully designed, bed wonderfully comfortable, facilities excellent, a complete pleasure to be in.
Breakfast was a rare treat with great food in lovely surroundings.
Position of the hotel was perfect. Right in the heart of the old town so a few metres from the harbour, the shops and restaurants but an oasis of peace and comfort as soon as you stepped back inside the hotel.
However, the best part of it all was the staff. Very friendly and helpful hardly descr

We have spent 5 days in the place and really enjoyed the location close to the sea. Just crossing the road takes to the beach and two restaurants nearby. There is a bus stop, several shops around and you can rent a car as well. The town is not noisy while still on a short distance to Chania. The closest beach is not a large one but it is still convenient and you can get in 10 minutes by bus to another one, much larger. Great food in local restaurants, nice location for a late walk.
