We loved everything about this hotel and the region in general. The rooms are large, clean and beautifully appointed; the views are stunning; Breakfasts are delicious and served on a terrace overlooking the Adriatic. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the beautiful old town of Rovinj.

The location of Villa Squero was perfect. The first 2 nights we stayed in the attic room where we were happy except for the bonking of our heads on the angled ceiling. We just loved everything. From the location to the fantastic breakfast on the terrace to the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Also, the little touches, like the bottle of sparkling water in the fridge and a gateau to nibble each evening on our return. The hotel is so good for both the old town of Rovinj and also for the wonderful coast line, which we could explore on the free bikes which we got from the hotel. Amazing hotel, beautifully if not always practically designed. The staff were generally extremely friendly and helpful. The new pool area and cafe are lovely. The hotel was extremely busy when we were there and it was difficult to get a lounger next to the pool but this wasn't a problem as there were plenty of other loungers in amongst the trees.

Spent 2 nights here in Oct.,we were given an upgrade to a Jazz Room and althought it was a bit cool for the water it was great for relaxing! Staff so great !! I can see why it is such a conference hotel as they are very service oriented! Lana at the front desk was delightful and enjoyed meeting the head chef that grew up in Canada(woohoo Canadian Maple Syrup on the menu) Ate in L Restaurant twice and would go back again. Presentation and flavors of the dishes were wonderful. Loved the Croation

Amazing views of the sea and the historical Rovinj. Do you feel that you are on the beach. Room was new and clean. Every day was cleaning, fresh towels every other day. Breakfast can choose from the menu, are high. Again we booked a stay in the spring

We enjoyed at Pansion Valbruna, appartment was very clean and location is great. Free WI-FI, free parking for your car and the best facility: free bicycles so you don't need a car if you want to visit the old town or beach. We will definitely return

Perfect location to explore Rovinj and Istrian peninsula. The staff was remarkable-special thanks to Martina, Vlatka, Mateo, and Marina.
From suggestions to where to go, to making dinner reservations, to parking and retrieving our car, and even a surprise birthday bottle of wine-they did it all.
Old town Rovinj is truly a gem. Travelers should not miss a day in the medieval hill towns, especially Motovun, Draguc, and Groznjan.

Very comfortable large room with modern and practical bathroom.
Located in the historical centre of town in a lively small street, we did not get disturbed during the night, but had to close the well insulating window. As consequence not accessable by car.Aircondinging.
Had exellent welcome by the personell, which found a solution also to store our bikes.
We would recommend if you would like to stay in Rovinj historical centre.

Fantastic location - getting the boat to and from the mainland wasn't a problem as it was always punctual and the crew were helpful and polite.
Really beautiful hotel - extremely clean and kept very well. The views of the old town are incredible.
Staff - all were helpful, polite and spoke excellent English.
Value for money - it is hard to believe that this is only a 2* hotel as facilities, pool, room etc were all of a high standard
