This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Architecturally and as measured by position views etc. this is a gem.
In the case of the experience at the hotel we were not let down. Staff
were excellent, always helpful and friendly. Facilities were great;
wonderful outdoor pool with towels provided and poolside service .
Excellent breakfasts individually made if required. A lovely walk along
the waterfront took you to the old town in about 40 minutes or taxi
from the hotel for 56 Kunar (£8 €7). Connections from the airport

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lipa. The facilities were excellent, rooms very spacious and smart with lovely views onto the bay. The pool was good and the food very nice. The staff, in particular, were excellent. They spoke perfect English and did everything they could to make sure we had a lovely stay and to deal with any problems if we had them.

Fantastic hotel with great access to all Makarska has to offer. After an initial mix up with our booking, this was fixed without any fuss and the next day we also received a beautiful fruit basket and bottle of wine from the management. Hotel Luxe is really close to the port and the old town centre. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast has a good selection to choose from. Rooms were comfortable and modern. Would certainly stay again given the chance.
