  The staff was excellent--hip, young, friendly, canadian (gotta love the friendliness of Canadians!!). The place was small but that made it quicker to heat up on the cold days we were here.   It fitted in with our journey back to mainland vancouver as a one night stop over. This motel was better than a few we had stayed at over our 2wk vacation and we are glad that we got to see Chemainus town itself what a lovely town.Bed was comfy, fridge worked, tv great, tea and coffee machine worked.   The wifi is weak.... Others are good. - Friendly staff, I was able to check in ahead of time. Checkout is 11 am, which is very nice. A liquor store is in walking distance, which gives you a chance of enjoying a stay the dark rooms with thin walls.

  Courteous service. When we had to arrive late on our first night, staff made sure that we got trouble-free access to our room. The room was very clean, and its kitchenette made breakfasts easy. The staff made sure we knew of local places of interest.
