The welcome and organisation was great. the fabulous breakfast and the feeling that you were in a home from home with none of the work! For a bed and breakfast(being my first), it was lovely! The house looked like it was pulled off a storybook. The couple was so kind and comforting, and the house just made you feel right at home. The owners are a very friendly couple, who take time to get to know their guests and go out of their way to make them feel at home. The fresh baked food and sheer amount of fresh produce supplied for breakfast was a delight. Very welcoming, great fellowship.

Teena and Al are great hosts and have a great romantic antique bedroom
(Rose Room) that we stayed in. The accomodations are lovely with a
private bath. Teena prepared a great breakfast and then we spent some
time in their wonderful garden, just outside our room. We also arrived
late and my gps did not work and Al guided us in and waited up for us.

Very cozy two bedroom unit. Very close to our daughter who lives in the Highlands. Much more personal than a Hotel that may have a pool or other ameneties that we would not have used. Great for taking in a hockey game then for a couple of hours at the nearby Casino. (December)
It would be an even better location in the summer to take advantage of the rivervalley then shop on Whyte avenue.

We were very impressed with the accomadations. very clean and so nice and homey. room was a bit small as my wife has a walker to manuver around but we were well looked after by the host and hostess. it was a real pleasure to stay there. -
