Five of us stayed in a two-bedroomed suite, overnighting between landing at the airport and picking up a motorhome. This was the best hotel experience of our Canadian holiday; not the swankiest, not the best located, not the most elegant, but by far the most hospitable. Early check-in? No problem. Free cookies and drinks in the foyer. Free popcorn in the suite. Excellent free simple early supper with good home-made soup and DIY subs. Mini-tennis court. Good clean rooms, beds and lime. The dinner we had at the lodge was excellent...very different and interesing combinations. The included breakfast was equally yummy with lots of choices.
The room was very comfortable and sitting out on the verandah in the comfy chairs was so relaxing and peaceful.
Loved the location along the river and away from the hustle and bustle.

I was glad I was at the airport so there was no need to get up early to get a cab. I was thrilled that my luggage was taken right over to the Westjet desk for me. I liked the Spa and Services there. the staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that the staff put water into the fridge knowing that I just had a massage treatment and that i would need to drink lots of water. I also liked the cleanliness of my room for the best part.

After a few sleepless nights in Canmore, Sunwapta Falls came like a rain in the desert! It was absolutely lovely. Our room was kitchy and dated, but the beds were extremeely modern, comfortable and clean. The entire resort caters to quiet people and the room was SILENT after 10 pm - we caught up on much-needed sleep! The restaurant was fantastic

Staff service was the best we encountered on our 25th anniversary bike tour from Jasper to Banff. Janessa helped us plan our travel and allowed us to leave our vehicle at the resort for an extra 4 days. She even had champagne waiting for us in the room. The room was spotless, and the decor was modern. The hotel was literally the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. So close to the downtown but no downtown noise and no noise from the other guests - a complete luxury. I was so impressed I asked at the front desk and was told the rooms are double insulated so sound does not carry. -

The hosts were most congenial and the breakfasts were wonderful. All conveniences were provided including robes, coffee maker and a great pet Cockatoo that we fell in love with. A lovely home in a beautiful area and close to Calgary.
