The staff was Extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was close to everything we wanted to visit. The food in the restaurant/brewery downstairs was delicious. The morning breakfast buffet was tasty and convenient. I would stay again in the future and highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to dc to tour the city. The kids enjoyed the pool, too!. Good location, easy to get food, transportation, walking distance to all major museum and tourist spot. 5minutes walk to Chinatown. Spy Museum is just next door. feel free to vist the bar and restaurant on hotel ground floor, their beer and food are superb! Trust me, you won't regret.
all reviews » The staff was very friendly, the breakfasts were outstanding and we were given multiple bottles of cold water on our way in and out of the hotel since the weather was around 90 degrees. I also like the noon check-out and the location was very central. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast on the weekend was excellent. This location is great for shopping and touring the city. There several restaurants for dining. We loved Old Ebbitt Grill on 15th street for dining. The location was central to a lot of the attractions. The White House is just down the road. There's a Shake Shack across the road for late night meals!. Very pleasant staff. Bedding and room environment was comfortable and clean. Convenient location to areas of interest during my stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, always ready to offer directions, cabs, tips on getting around dc. Great central location. Close to China Town. - the Gordon Biersch place inside the Hotel premisses - security system (elevator only works with room access card) - nice size fridge, that can be turned off/cools for a certain time (no noise at night) - rack for suitcases, dryer, tv, - wireless -room was clean, good size - didnt feel old or run down at all good location staff was nice valet parking overall good experience. Indoor pool water is dirty, Jacuzzi at pool not function. We had the do not disturb sign on our door. But the housekeeping staff working on the adjacent rooms were a little loud and disruptive. Movies were somewhat expensive. It took some time to check in, the staff was overwhelmed with answering phones and dealing with guests. However, they were cool under pressure. Nothing. Nothing. no parking. Parking was a bit expensive. We found a cheaper place around the corner. Breakfast menu could be richer, otherwise nothing to complain.. Parking wasn't included in price and was a bit high. The level of chlorine in the pool was so high, my kids couldn't stay in and swim. We were first put in a room with a huge post sited in the middle of the room, plus the air conditioning unit was extremely noisy. After one night of no sleep we requsted, and obtained a transfer to a better room. No complementary breakfast. Coffee in the room not enough for occupants. Nothing to complain about. Poor pool size. none. Internet was terrible - particularly the WIFI connectivity in the rooms. Moved rooms and was only a little better. booked for a king bed but was downgraded to a twin. Was awoken by drunks in hallway at 3:00 a.m. who were yelling and laughing. Never fell asleep again. Somethings in the hotel looks so old. Pool kinda sucked. telephone calls rates from hotel are a bit soo steep for this day and age. But this is a problem across all hotels. Staff charge me for valet parking that I didnt use it. I have to wait for cancel that. Parking was too expensive. -wireless was somehow restricted (but not major factor) - beds weren't too large - breakfast (not worth the money). Room too small especially bathroom. Noise. Small bathroom. No breakfast. Room size. - for everything we had to call some one senior to get help on.
