The efficient and kind ways of the staff. One hotel guest was getting worried that, not having accounted for the wait for the cab at rush hour, she had been wrong to expect the timing of 15 minutes from the hotel to the train station. The desk person, a man, left the desk to reassure her keeping an eye all the time on the entrance curb and when he saw a cab drop someone he jumped to the curb to make sure the woman could drive away in that cab rather than the one she was waiting for. all reviews » Our room was extremely comfortable, with a king size bed that had beautiful linen and comfy pillows. The bathroom was a great size. One very favourite thing for us was the hot drink maker. As we don't drink coffee, we can't normally make a cup of tea without the coffee flavour being in the water, but at Hampton they have disposable cups that take the heated water and then you add coffee or tea. Thanks heaps. The hotel is within 10 minute stroll from the Space Needle. I would certainly recommen. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast that came with the room was outstanding. Also, a breakfast snack package was available in the morning that contained a fruit and a bottle of water. In the evening, a package of cookies was available. Coffee and hot cocoa bar was available 24 hours. There was also an exercise gym. The inn and suites was also centrally located near the Space Needle and Seattle Center. What a winner for the price. Wonderful hotel - and Great management & staff. Ed was so helpful at the front desk, setting up dinner ideas - "Super Bruce", went beyond the call of duty making sure I got a jacket I had left at a restaurant back to me in Charleston. The person at the desk when we were checking out at 6am on Thursday the 25th of August(admittedly the end of her night shift)was not very nice. There was nothing that I disliked. There was nothing I disliked. That I could not get points as a Hilton member because I booked the two suites that we had for three nights through a third party as I was told by the front desk staff. We did have issues with the air conditioners in each of the suites. We stayed over a weekend....the breakfast room which is quite large got crowded. (There are also outside eating areas.) On Monday this was not a "problem". Overall great place hard to "complain" about anything. The mattress wasn't quite as comfortable as some I have slept on. paying for parking. Very basic breakfast with plastic cutlery. Car parking underground. Very busy with 'loud' people. Parking is very tight in the garage. can'T think of anything. it all worked well. can't think of a thing. didn't like the parking facility, I don't think you should have to pay for parking, at times I couldn't even find a spot to park in, spaces too small. too much fragrance when you first walk in the room, had to open window. Nothing. One duvet in the bed. AC was a bit noisy. Had to turn the TV up fairly high to hear it. I was not happy with the disposables used for drinking, eating etc. no refrig in room unless it is requested ahead of time... Was not one thing I did not like. Not a thing. outdated furnishings, kitchenette had no cooking utensiles,coffee maker was just plain bad. the paper-thin walls...we could hear everything next door and in the hallways!!!!!. hate the coffee pot in the bathroom, fluorescent light color. Plastic knives, forks & plates. Some food pre-fab for breakfast. Cost of room. no pool or hot tub very poor breakfast buffet , food not very good ,design of breakfast area was terrible packing everyone in a tiny room.
