We visited Hotel Indigo for the second time after having a mindblowing experience back in 2011. After all, the location is unbeatable and the property is flawless. It did not dissapoint. The chic and modern lobby is a visual experience; the restaurant, Table 509, serves delicious and incredibly good priced meals (two thumbs up for all the items on the breakfast menu); the rooms are clean, spacious, modern and have breathtaking views of the beautiful downtown. all reviews » This is a beautiful hotel and are the rooms are super comfortable and spacious. The location is excellent (right next to the baseball field) and close to the Gaslamp District. The wifi was fast and there were heaps of restaurants around and the cinema and good restaurants. I loved the design of the hotel. Everything was very trendy and bright, just what I want when I'm traveling and a great reflection of the Gaslamp area. Staff was very helpful and kind, and I appreciated the free wifi and printing in the lobby. Great looking place, nice style and very modern. extremely comfortable beds. There is an awesome rooftop bar with fire pits to relax at. The hotel is extremely dog friendly. Good location in gas lamp close to the shopping and bar scene. Front desk was super welcoming and professional. Gave a great suggestion for a restaurant. The beds were super comfy, I slept like a baby. I can't wait to go back!. However, it really means you get one $20 voucher per reservation, with which you can order from the regular breakfast menu. $20 doesn't cover breakfast for two people. No food was available for purchase at 5am when I had to leave for the airport. No pool:(. Nothing. Nada!. No Parking, had to valet. Only Valet Parking Available. Bit Pricey for Parcking. The only thing I didn't dig was the price for parking, however there was plenty of street parking so it was fine nonetheless. Nothing. Loved our stay. Required valet parking with a set fee. 40$ valet a night could have been advertised, as it was the only parking option available by the hotel. Otherwise it is street parking. Liked everything, except the outrageous parking fees!. We left our bags (including laptop bags) to the reception to keep at the luggage room. The receptionist left it next to the front desk. We said "it includes our valuables. Please put it into the luggage room". She said "OK I will definitely put it into locked room in 5 minutes". We came back after 2 hours and our bags were still lying next to the counter - very easy for someone passing by to pick up! This was unacceptable. I will tell people who stay at indigo to not trust the receptionist !!!. The heater in the room wasn't working...even after a maintenance man came to fix it. The shower had mold and the front desk wasn't as friendly as our first visit. No in room refrigerator? There was last visit!. Price of parking per day was too expensive. Only negative thing I have to say about the hotel. leaving. Would not recommend for business travelers, unless you are okay with surrounding noises late at night. Price for parking ($ 39.00) is too much. The pillows were really uncomfortable. They should consider upgrading to down pillows. I received friendlier and much better service at a very low budget holiday inn. Air conditioner didn't work. Safe didn't work. Coffee pot didn't work. Food was not anything to write home about. I suffered backaches from the bed and pillows.
