Clean, functional rooms with good location and views. There was a mix up when I got there late and I was not able to get a room but the next day the owner/manager apologized and gave me a significant discount to make up for the inconvience. Lovely room in a beautiful location with a lovely view of the water right out the big window. The big tub in the room was wonderful as well. It's a little expensive, but has to be the nicest place to stay in Port Townsend.
all reviews » King size bed, fireplace, and a two person tub...amazing! The 3rd floor view overlooking the water was icing on the cake. Very walkable to the plaza district and many pubs and restaurants. Office manager and maid service could not have been nicer. Coffee and bath products were great. Maybe the best shower head I have ever seen and i've been around 62 years. The location is great, and so are the staff, very helpful indeed. Ample continental breakfast, fireplace and jacuzzi in the room, and even a great bed !. Oh. the view...!. Located near the historic district (within a short walk). The hospitality was excellent. The personnel was very nice with us. views, jacuzzi,the bed was delightful,shower was huge, lots of hot water, the room was spacious, everything was clean. The facility was right on the water. Big jacuzzi tub in the room. The room and grounds were very clean. We especially liked the room we stayed in with sweeping views and very cozy with fireplace and spa. The location was excellent. The room was a bit over the top in the decor, but very comfortable. We were there only one night, but we had a really nice stay. Amenities were nice along with the staff. Insure that late arrivals have a way to get into their room. The breakfast in the morning was heavy on the carbs - cereal and muffins and bagels and the like. More fresh fruit or even hot food would be better, at the very least some variety. The bed was also a little too firm for my taste. Continental breakfast: Well I guess these days that mean cereal, a bagel and muffin. At least there's the Bayview Cafe about a 5 minute walk away. Definitely recommend!. Much trouble with the room/outer door key. Caused a late night trip from home for the night manager. He arrived within 10 minutes to remedy the problem and was very nice. Especially considering the late hour. Nothing... people next door smoking on the balcony, hint for anyone else if this happens, let the staff know they will make them stop. The room was decorated in a French provincial style. The price was a bit steep. The furnishings in the King bed room was a little over the top, but that was minor. furniture. Pillows could hav been fluffier!. A bit expensive. the décor was a bit over the top - rocco. A beach décor would be perfect. The locks on the outer doors did not work, doors were often propped, got locked out on Sunday morning while checking on the breakfast, which opened over an hour late! On breakfast opened, there was no protein on it, so as a diabetic I had to go elsewhere. need lighting over desk. Husband did not like the decor. Sewer gas at the tides inn terribly overwellming. The dated and old fashioned decor in the room with the Spa bath very oddly placed in the room. The tiny balcony was a bit dirty and grubby. The outside of the hotel needs a coat of paint. For what you get it is very over priced!. Breakfast was not sufficent and the decor needed to be updated. The toliet was filthy even though it had a sanitized paper strip from the 7O's on it.
