I liked the place overall, the best part about it was that it was only 10 minutes from Indianapolis motor speedway and it has a great restaurant in the the coachmen next to it and wonderful winery right behind it, liquor store across the street two gas stations, flapjacks for breakfast a mall and a brewpub . Perfect little area. We were looking for a clean and economical place to stay for a night. This was the 2nd time that we stayed there and found that the 2nd floor room was nicer than the one we had before on the 1st floor. It is older, but adequate for our needs.
all reviews » The cost and location to my business conference PLUS, the proximity of various restaurants that were withing walking distance. By far though was the cost. The complementary breakfast was more than sufficient. When I arrived late due to plane delays they hired a taxi to pick me up at the airport. I appreciated that effort!. Good location outside Indianapolis. Close to Speedway track. Rooms average. Reasonable price. It was so quiet and our rest was undisturbed after a long day and a late check in. Was close to airport was just spending the date the price was a great value. The decor of the rooms, bedspreads. The bed padding was very comfortable. you do get what you pay for and this hotel is a good deal for the money. The price. Definitely worth what we paid for the room. Box tv. Nothing really. It definitely met my needs and I would be happy to stay there again. Continental breakfast was minimal. That even tho I had requested a lower level due to walking and climbing disability, we still were put in an upper level room. Don't know if it was because we arrived late, did not prepay, or the reason that happened. Had it had not been so late, I would probably have looked for another hotel. I felt like maybe we were given that room because of amount of room and not prepaying. The exhaust fan in bathroom very loud. Would have liked to have a protein option (ex. eggs) as part of the breakfast. The tub in our room drained very slowly. Room needed a little work on curtains and bath/shower. the bathroom could use A little fixing and cleaning. Everything was great, the only thing didn't like was the breakfast, not a good selection, not clean area. It needed some maintenance work. Painting, doors replaced etc. The room had a very strong smell of smoke. They boast shuttle service but fail to mention a 15 dollar fee for it since it's not theirs. Poor run down trashed excerise room. No bath tube plug. Wake up call excissive. I was very disappointed my room was not cleaned for the next day. I had to go and get my own clean towels. Also 2 rooms down an construction crew rented the room. Very drunk guys partied all night and also knocked on my door at 1 in the morning to solicit sex from me.. I was booked to stay another night but left early the next morning because of this. breakfast was real iffy. Bed sheets tore and breakfast too poor. TV reception was horrid. Over half of the channels didn't come in clearly. The lady at the front desk was rude when I checked in. We went there so we could leave our car, go the the airport and have a room when we returned. Upon returning we found a police sticker on our car, the motel reported it as abandoned in spite of filling out papers to register us and it at the motel. We were given a room (116) that should never have been rented to anyone. The furniture was old, not stable, with chipped areas, drawers that would not open, just totally showed a lack of up keeping. Very poor room, I can't believe that gave anyone that room. The smoke smell of the room. When we got home had to wash clean as well as dirty clothes. Cigarette butts all outside the place. the rooms were dirty. the toilet had feses and urine in it. we call down to the front desk and got a different room. the second room had trash in one of the corners. the remote to the television didnt work half the time. it was just the awfullest place ive ever stayed. also one of the sheets were dirty on the bed. Facility is in extremely poor, run down condition. The mattress felt like covered box springs. Everything never will recommend it. room dirty, bed had holes in sheets,very run down, will never stay here again. It was the worst days inn I have ever stayed in people out side partying and cooking out on their truck and setting off smoke alram workers out side smoking at front door talk to Plainfield cops I will never stay there again !!! I no u don't care you have my money I told the lady up at the office she never sad a word wow.
