The staff were very helpful and the location as excellent. location, free upgrade. Location, nice rooms, reasonable price for Manhattan. The bedroom and bathroom were really nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is pretty close to time square and several other attractions of NY. It was a great weekend at Jefferson Washington!. The hotel was in a great central location. It was just a short walk to many of the places we wanted to see in New York such as Central Park, Broadway, Times Square and David Letterman. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was the perfect size for 2 adults and had recently been remodeled. We had a very clean room. I would definately stay here again!.

It was hard to wash your face without getting water on the floor.besides the price stated on the site, there were at least 4 mores taxes for each day. The standard room was small, measured 3 paces by 6 paces. No tea or coffee making facilities in room. The free internet access was only applicable had I taken my own computer, this was not made clear in hotel literature.rooms where a little to small. Room heating was either on or off with no in between control. Too small rooms, the wireless internet was not working. Rooms in front, on street side of the hotel are very noisy. No coffee or continental service (Starbucks is one block away) No sundries available.The room was quite small. Air Conditioning. Room A/C did not work all the time. The internet was fatal... It was one of my most imp criteria and it didn't worked ( the wi-fi) and nobody could help me... I had wireless in other places but not in the hotel...room smelled weird... AC was so noisy. Rooms were incredibly stuffy and hot. Poor air quality. Absence of bar/lounge/meeting area impaired the stay somewhat.We had to change to a bigger room at an increased cost - first room was far too small for a weeks stay for two people. Also not much in the way of facilities - no bar or restaurant, which suited us but may not suit many. the hotel room was a lot smaller that expected and we also got stuck in the lift. when we first arrived we also got sent the wrong way to the room which resorted in us carring our heavy suitcases up 4 flights of stairs and couple of times until the man at the desk said he sent us the wrong way, he then laughed.
