Nice medium sized hotel in a good location. This hotel has about 50 rooms on 7 floors, a small breakfast area on the ground floor and fitness room with sauna and steam room in the basement. It is about a 5 minute walk from wall street subway station and 5 to 10 minutes from the south street seaport and the Staten island ferry (a great free way to see the statue of liberty). Conveniently located right near the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge, it was a short walk to multiple Subway stations, the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Pace University, the 9/11 Memorial, and Battery Park. Very clean hotel, exactly as the pictures showed it to be. Spacious room and bathroom, quiet environment. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a heat fan in it, which was nice to keep yourself warm af. Almost no noise in nights and during the day, very silent hotel for Manhattan. Good silent AC which didn't blow the air towards the bed (at least in my corner room). Continental Breakfast included, including almost the best Croissants I ever had in an US hotel. Coffee, tea and bakery which wasn't finished after the official breakfast time (till 10 am) was left there, I always still got Coffee and Croissants around noon and tea in the evening. Nice room and bathroom (marble all over), not large,. Walking to the hotel and seeing the busy bars of Stone Street I figured there would be a noise problem. When I go to my room, I thought the rooms were so close together there would be a noise problem. Not at all. I loved the location. It's central to everything: bagel shop, cafe, bars, restaurants, Staten Island ferry, World Trade Center, The Bull, Wall Street, convenience store, starbucks, subway station. Cute and clean facility. My room was huge and surpassed expectations. I will stay here ag. Really liked the look of the building and the block that it was on... A sense of the old New York. The location was fantastic, in the heart of the Financial District. Lots of pubs and small shops made the cozy neighborhood feel like the backstreets of London. Parking is just across the street and discounted with hotel stamp. Check in was efficient and room was spotless and charming. Free breakfast was nice too. If you are tired of staying at hotels that feel and look the same, this is definitel. This was a bargain! Right off Wall Street for a third of the price of other hotels in the area. We stayed here for 3 nights on honeymoon, and it was comfortable, quiet and a great location. Only 5 minutes walk to the Staten Island Ferry and Wall Street subway station. 9/11 Memorial is about a 15 minute walk, and Times Square is around 1.5 hours if you wish to walk it, or 20 minutes on the subway. Breakfast simple but tasty. Nice bagels and croissants. We were delighted with our decision to stay at the Wall Street Inn. Wonderful accommodations in every respect. Loved the ambiance and cleanliness of the entire facility. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful in making our stay memorable. Also loved the location. Lots of our tourist destinations w/i walking distance and those that weren't, were conveniently located to several subway stations. An A+ Stay!. as a New Yorker,I liked the fact you are in the city but not in the craziness of Times Square and the entire mid-town area...it's like having your own place...the room didn't feel like just a "hotel room" but more like a nice and cozy bedroom you don't want to leave..but if you do..within 20-30mins. you can be pretty much be anywhere in Manhattan. The staff was very pleasant, rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location couldn't be beat. For food and drink go to Stone street, it was right behind us and very historical as well. I recommend Ulysses. Battery Park, South street Seaport, shopping, sightseeing, subways, NYSE and WTC are all within walking distance. Location is perfect, as the financial district makes both sides of the island accessible so easily. Nice and quite (compared to the rest of Manhattan) in the evenings and on weekends. Very clean; great housekeeping staff. Modestly priced for no obvious reason-- perhaps people's misguided hesitation over location. Very well positioned little hotel in a quieter part of Manhattan. Great for river trips and walking to lower and mid Manhattan. Rooms are comfortable and even the smallest are at least adequately sized. Room decor is different to the majority of hotels, so makes the place memorable. The TV in our room didn't work well- the screen was dying, so the colors were very off. First there was a feculent, foul smell in the bathroom. But I found the reason quickly: There was no water in the odor trap (siphon) in the drain in the bathroom floor, after pouring some glasses of water in the drain, the smell was gone. Otherwise no problems at all. The lady at the front desk did not have much information or input but no big deal. I wrote to the hotel in advance to inquire about parking but I did not get a response. However, we really enjoyed our stay and the parking garage is right across the street, discounted with a hotel validation. You cant beat $35 a day for 24 hr parking in nyc!. couldn't stay longer. Please could someone tell the desk staff the importance of smiling!! Although they were always ready to help, the unsmiling attitude was off putting. The WiFi is weak to non existent at times. At weekends the subway connections aren't as reliable / convenient as if you stayed downtown. Although the hotel was clean there was a damp smell in the room, we were on the 6th floor. We accidentally got off in the 2nd floor and it had the same damp smell. Once u were in the room for a while u forgot the smell. Otherwise no problems, would recommend it. Can't think of anything which wasn't pretty well perfect!!!. All good. people next door had children, slamming door constantly early in the morning, twas quite rude.. otherwise, very very quiet...a bit pricey for room size, but very accommodating to my reservation changes. Breakfast is boring and with a limited choice of food. Breakfast was included in price,was fresh but minimal. Could include cooked food such as scrambled/fried eggs and bacon. Air conditioner a bit loud. Breakfast quite basic, but good. Breakfast room is a bit tiny and breakfast itself is a bit modest. The breakfast could have been better attended to in terms of replacing items that were gone. Rooms on lower floors rather dark. The front desk clerk was rude that checked us in. He was not helpful or friendly. The air condition was a bit noisy. Curtain in bathroom did not cover top of window. Didn't know if there were apartments across the street. Uncomfortable about that. The elevator carpet is worn and gives a poor first impression. The television did not work. I cannnot think of anything, for our short visit it was just about perfect. Limited Breakfast choices. noise of air conditioning, small breakfast area, not enough space for self service. Nothing really. breakfast not really there. N/A. wifi was intermittent and we had no hot water in the whole building on our last day. Atrocious wifi, showers were mediocre.
