From the moment we arrived to when we left everything was just perfect. We drove to nyc and we were pleasantly greeted immediately. The staff was warm and welcoming. Our room on the 11 th floor was perfect. Just enough room. Great design and spotless! I give this hotel an a+. The location is great, close to east village and soho! Union square subway station. I come to nyc several times a year and I will absolutely stay here again.

The location is great because the subway is just a block north of the hotel and it is in the heart of a revitalized district of of New York. The room I stayed in was both functional and just the right size for a solo traveller or a couple. AMAZING hotel!!! In most 5 star hotels I've stayed worldwide, more often than not, you don't hear your neighboring rooms' doors open and shut unless they're being slammed. For a 4 month old hotel, the bed already began to criek. And, lastly, the airconditionijng is not consistently cool. This is quite disturbing as it presently is summertime in New York and some days can be very, very hot and humid. They need to immediately check on this. Nothing. Everything was PERFECT. nothing really. perhaps the hotel bar was on the quiet side but didn't matter that much, they will have a roof top bar ready in spring. I reserved a courtyard room but was placed in a room aling 4th Ave that had lits if traffic noises. Lack of creamer for coffee machine in room. Starbucks coffee was good. Creamer would have made it better. Room we had was a little small. The traffice, but that's really just NY all together, not the hotel... Can't think of a thing I didn't like. Very Small rooms with no view at all. Its new york. Hotel didnt add loyelity program points as I made the booking through letsbookhotel.com. N/A. small room not adequate storage space pay wifi. Small rooms. No place to park n load n unload in front. Paying for Internet access. Smallness of 'deluxe' suite - we had to scoot round the room on the bed as there was hardly any floor space. everything was good!. The shower/toilet arrangement was a disaster, water went everywhere. There was no makeup mirror and the lighting of the vanity area was terrible. The closet was totally inadequate for 2 people, in fact there was practically no storage in the room. This was regrettable as there was a ton of wasted space in the entry hall. The "reading" lamps illuminated the bedside tables and were not adjustable for actually reading in bed. Area and hotel too sterile and too expensive for a new "gay-friendly" hotel. Not 4-star, or 5. No fun stuff; only rules to be observed. Doesn't have any ambience; staff not that friendly. In it's defense, all this applies to the new "Bloomberg Nanny New York" -- worse than the "Guliani Disney New York" as it was when I lived there before 10 years ago. cuisine, obvious disconnect from restaurant to hotel, hotel room temperature.... I stayed for 10 nights and the bed sheets were awful. I could find hairs on the pillow and towels. 1. my reservation was for a city view room ($$$) but they got me a garden view ($$), after my complaint and one night spent in the wrong room i got what i've reserved but didn't got any discount as with a trick they made appear the garden view more expensive than the city. Unbelievable. 2. wanted to have a drink at the lobby bar on saturday night but i couldn't because it closes at midnight. Unbelievable. Stayed five nights. Never got a single good nights sleep as I was kept awake by the sound of the elevator each night. The staff were unhelpful and always found a reason not to let me move rooms. The room was dirty and not cleaned at all well. The hotel is in an excellent location but that is the only thing going for it, next time I will stay in the "W" as usual. The price is too high for the services you get. WIFI is not free. You need to pay 15 $ a day to get a very slow one that didn't work always in the room. Worst hotel experience. Never stay in this hotel again!.
