The Fairgrounds horse racetrack, venue for the world famous New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (Jazz Fest for short) is only a few blocks away. Each of the rooms is individually furnished with its own character and style. All the rooms and suites are elegantly appointed with antique and reproduction furniture, hardwood floors and an extensive collection of Degas prints and sculpture. The spacious and luxurious suites feature private balconies and mini-refrigerators. Deluxe rooms feature 4-post Queen-size beds and either a Jacuzzi or Victorian claw-foot bath. Garrett rooms are located on the third floor and modeled after the attic studios of 19th century Parisian artists. All rooms are equipped with: a private bathroom; air conditioning; and access to shared kitchen facilities. Guests have access to two beautifully decorated grand parlors featuring an extensive collection of reproduction Degas prints and sculpture.
All reservations are based on single/double occupancy. No smoking is permitted in the House. You may smoke outside in the Courtyard, on the balcony or on the porch. A fee of USD 150 smoke removal fee to any parties smoking in their rooms. You are given a set of keys when you check in; if these keys are not returned, there will be a charge of USD 50 to your credit card.
