The receptionist was very friendly and when we arrived 30 min early before check in she was able to get us into our room early and she made us feel very welcomed. Very close to the New Braunfels river and Schlitterbahn water park that we were visiting. The Hotel room was very comfortable and clean and had plenty of hot water. It felt like being at home and your staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service and lots of smiles... This is our second time back to your location and we will be returning. Thanks...
all reviews » hotel staff was great. first time visitor at this particular hotel. Enjoyed the complimenary breakfast. It was a simple clean room. I especially liked the breakfast. Clean, organized and lots of choices. I really enojoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, and the bed was comfy. front desk guy was very nice and helpful. looks like the place has been recently updated. The staff was very accommodating to me being handicapped. Will be coming back. Everything was good!. They are willing to please you. Location Comfortable beds. proximity to destination. I liked the location. everything. Price. I like the location and the price is fair rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. location. The beds were comfortable, just didn't have a full comforter didn't make since to me, real close to schlitterbaun. The waffles for breakfast. A/c was good room was fairly clean I think it was over priced I was charged more then what they quoted when my girlfriend went to confront them about it they refunded some of my money. good location, close to everything. nothing. The hot tub wasn't hot. we enjoyed our stay and it was a great value. if i had to pick something bad to say the only thing i can think of is the carpet was kinda dirty...looks like its one of the last things to update...wasnt horrible...just asked what was something that i didnt like and that was all i could think of :). Nothing, except a bit more breakfast out when it's Crowded. Breakfast could have a bit more variety. Rooms could use a bit of sprucing up. Front desk staff not very knowledgeable on things to do in the area outside of going to the bars in town. They have to be renue. nothing. Sheets had a cigarette burn in them. Was awaken at 6:00 am due to staff visiting loudly outside my room. Was echoing from front desk. Got the room to get away and sleep in, but ended up leaving at 7:00 am due to noise!. Condition of pool - cigarette butts and dog feces and dirty chairs. the hallways smell like urine. On reservation advised I was a senior but did not get senior discount. Said reservation didn't show. The blanket was on the bed in such a way I could not pull it up short sheeted. Bed spread had cigarette burns. no snack machine in the hotel, just soda machine. the steps going up to the front door are very dangerous. my wife fell. Room smelled like mold and mildew. I reserved a king size room online but when I arrove, I was told they didn't have the room I wanted. They also stated I was contacted by them, however I received zero contact from them. Noisy upstairs!. counter on sink too small. There were large roaches in rooms. The drain in the shower was stopped up, reported it but no one ever came to fix it real nasty situation, husband had to take a shower in another room his niece had. Needs upgrades. The room smelled of smoke. The room was too warm. The ac took waaay too long to cool down the room. The blankets were not the right size for the bed. The hotel was noisy enough that I couldn't get to sleep until 2:00 am, and the staff made excuses when I finally called the front desk to complain at 12:30. One entrance into the hotel had a locked chain link fence, and I was nearly rear ended as I tried to figure it out. My reservation was not held, but they took my money months earlier.it was dirty, broken fixtures, power went out all day and lost all my food in the fridge, ac did not cool and it was 107 degrees. It smelled bad , like dog urine. Very outdated and run-down hotel. It did feel very clean as well. This property is in terrible shape. The rooms are expensive, small and dingy. The common areas are also too small, dirty and generally in poor shape. Paying twice what one would pay anywhere else is also not acceptable. I would never stay here again and definitely would not recommend it. No up todate facility. Hotel was dated. It needs many repairs. The breakfast needs to be improved as well. The pool was dirty and the hot rub had cold water. Staff were not helpful, room door would not open most of the time, room did not have towels, breakfast area was not clean. Pool was nasty and dirty chairs were broken there was broken glass on ground. The SMELL in the place was horrible, paint coming off the walls, cigarette holes in the sheets, etc. will not stay there again. terrible everything.
