The staff were friendly, and helpful. We stayed there for 2 nights and had no issues with this hotel. Very convenient to shops and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and room was sufficient for our needs. Was quiet for sleeping and felt safe in this area. Bus service was very close to hotel. Took a 2.50 bus from the airport, and took a 2.00 bus to jungle island. Ate once in the restaurant in the morning and food was good as well as service. Wifi worked well in our room.
all reviews » I recently was stuck in Miami while traveling to Central America and needed a room to day. I found the Crest Suites hotels. Its centrally located near all the "expensive" hotels and near the lincoln st mall areas. Its on a street with similar small hotels. Room was a bit on the small side but bed was comfortable and the staff was pleasant. There is a restaurant where breakfast is served. It was relatively inexpensive and decent meal. Good value for the money. Allowed us to store our luggage in a secured room while our suite was being readied. The staff were friendly and helpful offering assistance as needed. This hotel is just a few steps from the fabulous Lincoln Road Mall with multiple shopping and restaurant venues. We felt safe and secure staying here and walking in the area at night. This hotel is in a brilliant location a block from ocean drive. We stayed in a king studio which was great value. It had cooking facilities but we didn't use them however it would be a great way to save money! The pool area was great! I would really recommend staying here. Everything was very clean and wifi throughout. The location is unbeatable and the prices are very fair for South Beach. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The outside, the lobby and pool area look attractive and well designed. Room service did a very nice job cleaning and changing linens daily. I would stay there again. The thing that i thought was nice was the assistance of Nimfa M, at the front desk and Sergio, the Manager. Who did their best to provide the best accomodations possible. Location was great and we got to see everything within walking or biking distance. The hotel is excellently located, near restaurants, shopping, car rental and cultural activities. And, it's only one block from the beach. It's clean & comfortable. The kitchenette facilities are great, although we did not use them on this trip. Carman your housekeeper and waitress was the most helpful person I have met in the hotels i have stay in. I do alot of traveling and she was the best i have ever seen . She went out of her way to make your stay comfort and I would come back again. The location! Two blocks from the beach. One block from Collins, one block from Lincoln Road, One Block from Washington. About a mile or so from South Beach. Staff was nice. And the hotel held our luggage while we explored the city. It was clean, friendly and extremely convenient for Lincoln Mall Blvd, Collins Ave and not far to walk to Ocean Drive. Had a little cafe attached where you could get coffee, breakfast or snacks until 3 pm. Location was excellent - right near to shops, dining and of course South Beach. Beds were very comfortable but rooms a little tired in decor and fixtures. Staff always ready to assist, very friendly. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was clean with nice amenities. The only issue is parking however there is secure parking for 16 dollars a day on Collins avenue which we used. A small hassle but everything was fine. No refrigerator in the room. The window unit AC blew air right on the bed. The bathroom is very outdated and quite small. The shower stall had a plastic curtain that was too short and the bathroom flooded after every shower - not good. I slept with earplugs as you can hear guests talking on the hallways as the door has a gap under it and I did ask for a quiet room. Our bathroom door did not close fully. Yet, a painter had just done some touch ups to the walls when we first arrived, so the hotel does seem to be making an effort to keep up with repairs. Toilet is to low & location or toiletpaper is in bad location. Didn't care for the way manager handle problems. The room was for necessities only. It was small. Closet space was good but hanging space too short for dresses. Only stayed 3 nights but if longer this would have been a problem for me. Disappointed with pool area- was very tiny, and no sun after lunchtime - not worth having really. Be better filling it in and extending outside seating area. Also no fridge or coffee maker in room - ice bucket available but not very efficient in Miami heat. Construction on the building next door. - First day the stove wasnt working because the gas was turned off and it could only fixed the following day. The fact that, in order to extend a stay in your room or to ask for late check out you have to wait till the effective day, with the risk of I availability. Room lacked decor, but that really wasn't a big deal. A bit unaware staff according to advice for different things (like rental cars, restaurants, etc.) - and a bit slow housekeeping... Bathroom is small but workable for one. Would be a bit challenging for two to get ready at the same time. somewhat dim lighting in the hallways. Parking was a bit problematic in the weekend, no own parkingspace. Private parking accross the street was really expensive so public parking is preffered. In this style of room, a seperate bedroom would be nice. Now a closet was used as a room devider. No windows in the bathroom so it would get very hot in there with hair-dryer and straightners on, bathroom was very small. A/C in my room did not work properly. Carpets in bedroom could do with replacing and electric sockets lose to the extend phone did not charge. Wish the place had a gym. Very thin walls in the hotel building, easy to hear the converstions of other guests. Be careful, rooms with a palm tree near the window could be noisy when windy!. A\C was leaking water on the carpet. Staff was friendly but a little slow. The safe in the room was locked and it took a half hour for someone to come up and unlock it. Meanwhile, there was 15 people waiting in the lobby for us. The elevator was too small. Reception at arrival the clerk could barely look up from his cellphone. Additional charges were not explained and despite the hotel directory in the room stated that super shuttle bookings could be made by reception, the receptionist said they did not , they only arrange taxis. Parking across the road, nothing to do with the hotel, was convenient but expensive. There´s no parking lot in the hotel and the breakfast is not good. Our room was next to the elevator and we heard noise a lot. There was no fridge in the room. parking across street $40 a day... went to Collins and 16th St and paid $16. A little misunderstanding with the safety deposit. leaving. the staff wasn'T to friendly angel however was A true pleasure to deal with very respectful, attentive and accomidating great guy. Even in the smaller rooms coffee service would be a nice touch and a more comfortable chair, maybe with a little padding. But I do not like facilities. Nothing all very good. Air con average No breakfast No parking ($30 per day across road).
