Raj and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful - many things to do and places to eat within walking distance or short ride. Was really surprised by the kitchenette (frig, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, sink): it was fully stocked with all the basic utensils and dishes you might need. We had tea and snacks in room but it would be great for breakfasts, making lunches for out on the beach etc. Everything super clean and ready to use. Would make it easy to plan on .

The location is perfect, Harbor view, walking distance to the ferries, many fine restaurants, Main Street and the travel center. we didn't have a car and didn't need one. Ray and Nina are the most gracious hosts. They were so warm and welcoming that we felt like family. They did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We all agreed that we would return here and recommend this most hospitable Inn. The owner was very nice and helpful. He recommended restaurants, ferries and things to do. The continental breakfast was simple but sufficient. The room was an efficiency with a small kitchen which was nice for small meals. We were there 4 nights in warm and cool weather, so we needed ac and heat at times, and were able to have a comfortable temperature for either. The bedding was comfortable and noise minimal. Nice, clean motel in a great location. Two queen beds were good for my family (2 adults and 2 adult children). Frig, stove, and microwave were helpful. The new owner was very helpful - we got there around 10am and he let us use a room to change for the beach before our room was ready. We walked to the beach and also took the free trolley there. Main st. was also a few blocks away. The location - right on the harbour. The large, comfortable, clean room. There was even a little kitchen but we didn't need that. The owners, Raj and Nina, who made us very welcome and were really helpful about local places to visit. They were friendly and chatty with everyone over breakfast and we felt really at home. Provided requested soya milk. A lovely place to stay. Very clean. Manager, Raj, was very hospitable and thorough in his presentation of what was available during our stay. Older hotel but well- kept. Great value for the price: kitchenette plus king-sized bed for just $99! We would definitely stay again! Great location...2nd floor offers view of the harbor, but we didn't know, so we chose the 1st floor for the convenience!. The location of this hotel is superb with parking adjacent to rooms. The Cape Cod Harbor House Inn was in the perfect location on the Harbor and within walking distance to everything. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very spacious and I love that they have the hard-wood laminate floors. It is much cleaner and more sanitary that carpeting! The welcome and attention to guest requirements are a key element of a stay at the Harbor House. Raj and his family and staff keep the place clean and run it quietly and efficiently. It is an older inn and next to the seashore, so the building showed some age. The owner closes the inn during the winter and plans to do renovations this year to the outside and to many of the rooms. I personally would prefer a standing ironing board, but it was easy enough to use the folding one on the counter. Good iron! A guide to TV channels would have been helpful. Unusual not to be able to dial from room to room. Leaving. That nice porch which was so great to sit and read/talk was right outside our window and proved to be an attractive nusicence...all night.. As people sat and talked, yelled, literally all night. We felt the advantageous price may have attracted people who did not share our need for sleep or quiet. Had air conditioner on to provide white noise but it was very noisy and constantly cycled on and off. Neighbors seem to have a rooster. Hotel is best for sound sleepers. No complaints. My only suggestion would be to update the bathrooms and kitchenette area. They were immaculate, but tired looking. The premises are looking a bit sad but a winter spruce up will sort that out. Furnishings a little outdated. No pool. nothing, everything was perfect. It is an older hotel and some may think a small makeover is in order, but it is squeaky clean and some of the aged furnishings just add to its charm. Nothing. The kitchenette needs up grading. Although new management says they will be working on that in the future. The Inn at first glance appeared mediocre but this perception was quickly overcome by the staff, cleanliness and location. Although clean and well-stocked, the motel is old and in need of some renovation. However, it was still very comfortable and convenient. Having to leave!. No special dislikes. Noise from upstairs rooms travels down to the lower rooms. Very antique furnitures with slight smell of ancient times (but was ok, no reason not to book again). Nothing. We were on the first floor, and whoever was above us walked around loudly, almost stomping their feet....not sure what they were doing but they tromped around for an hour when they got up EARLY...the sound carries through the floors...perhaps they could assign ground floor rooms to people who are going to be getting up and/or leaving early? Continental breakfast was OK...but perhaps a bit of fruit and yogurt could be added to the choices?. The solid floors means you can sometimes hear people in the adjacent room moving around. The shower was weird and the bed was very firm. Breakfast was disappointing. Room could use some updating, but was very clean. Floor creaking from room above was quite loud whenever they walked around. No closet to hang up clothes. Very hot-no pool, yet close to beach. Everything was good. every thing was good. A little on the dodgy side perhaps in need of an update but that will drive up the price. You get what you pay for. I paid for a clean bed right on the Harbor. That's exactly what I got. Everything was great!. Can't see the sea from our room. facilities appearances. This hotel is overpriced. Not comfortable at all! I would not recommend to anybody!!!!.
