When I travel to flagstaff I am just looking for a clean bed and bathroom. I am not looking to spend a lot of time in the hotel. This is perfect and close to NAU. Clean and convenient and inexpensive. Good location, on Historic Route 66, near a strip mall and close to downtown. plain not much but a place to sleep. it was semi clean. Inexpensive.
all reviews » Not much. I will never use this hotel again. location, pretty easy access. Soft pillows! Clean towels. Location was ok. Not one thing. Staff gives the feeling they want to interact with guests as little as possible, and are not knowledgeable about the area. The picture must have twenty years old, we booked for the pool and vacation purposes that obviously hadnt been used for years.We felt The pictures were used as false advertisement on the net. We will not return. Facilities are quite old. Not very clean. It was very hot out. The air conditioner was on the back wall in some what of an alcove and never cooled the room.When I told the manager he replied the place was old and to open the windows!. Refused to give refund after my wifes surgury was canceled. beds had not been changed altho they were made, room had not been dusted in weeks, days? had to ask for clean sheets and blankets to make our own beds, breakfast was a few donuts and a few cookies and coffee, not a breakfast at all, management was most discourteous,. Grossly overcharged for facilities. Dirty bathroom, especially behind toilet pedestal. Breakfast area in reception - no bigger than a box. Breakfast consisted of a muffin and a biscuit and coffee. No hot water for tea. Coffee tasted awful. Had to carry back to room. Reception person did not understand English...They need to learn what is required in a "normal" hotel/motel. It is old (ex Rt 66) but a big effort and some radical changes may bring it back to life... Over charged, after all said and done, by $46.00 . tv shower, ,refrigerator ,shower, room smelled, staff could not speak English. They advertised breakfast, microwave , there was none, the room did not look like the web sight showed .lobby dirty. Would not stay there again, or recommend this web sight. Everything about this hotel. Would rather sleep in my car. Dirty sheets, pillows and towels. Manager. The manager is very hard to understand he speaks a different language,I got charged for a room that I had cancelled a week in advance, the manager had to come and light the pilot for the heater, gave us hard time about turning on the ac..i do not recommend this place to anyone.
