We go there on average 3 to 4 times a month and love it. We love to gamble and Dover has all of our faves. The decor is beautiful, atmosphere is great, employees are fantastic !! Food is wonderful, rooms are excellent. We have so much fun and its relaxing for us it is our perfect getaway! It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from our home to the casino but it is a pretty drive through the eastern shore and goes by quickly and worth the trip!! The dealers at the card tables are so nice and the pit bosses ar.
all reviews » The cleanliness of the hotel. It was spotless. Our room was spacious. The bathroom was huge. It was nice to have a variety of restaurants on site. We enjoyed the Dover Racetrack while we were there and did the ride-a-long with a professional driver. That was a wonderful experience. i really loved the room service. Breakfast in your room .Wonderfull not having to get dressed to go out in the morning after staying late in the casino , Food was delicious. A plus for that service.The hotel was first class. I liked being able to check in to the hotel and not having to worry about going out for anything unless I wanted to. Everything I needed was at the hotel. Almost like being on a cruise ship,except I never left land. I misplaced my phone and Adriana Robless somehow found what machine I was using...needless to say, my phone was found! Every single person on staff that I spoke to was very helpful and pleasant!!. Beautiful, and very clean! As a self-proclaimed Sheet Snob, their sheets were fabulous. The rate at letsbookhotel.com was awesome. Can't wait to go back to Dover Downs Hotel and Casino. The entire hotel staff went out of their way at every opportunity to accommodate your request the best they could extremely friendly polite and welcomed new guests with open arms. easy to get to. Facilities were spacious, clean and lovely. Restaurants of many varieties are on site. Shopping outside is close and convenient. Overall a very nice experience. Easy casino to navigate. Employees very helpful even at the gaming tables. Affordable drinks and food. The food was better than most casinos. We enjoyed the room although the room we booked with the mini was taken. So we were switched to a standard room. And we enjoyed the casino. The rooms were spacious. I love the fact that if you didn't have a key card you couldn't have entry on that floor via elevator. Very clean. Keep the drink costs low since you have to charge. Plenty of bars and staff at the tables to get drinks. I like the smoke free Casino.Excellent! The slot games has many varieties.My family had fun playing the games. I loved the decor of the room and bathroom and both were very spacious. It also was quiet and clean. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and fun. My husband enjoyed the slots and I enjoyed the shopping. Located near tax-free shopping. Restaurants in the casino were reasonable priced. I booked two days at the hotel and I was only given one I had to move to a Nother hotel in the area that was very inconvenient the hotel needs to change from letsbookhotel.com letsbookhotel.com will not accommodate Space accommodations for special circumstances. Parking wasn't close to the hotel. The only close parking was valet and he needed close handicap parking. Thought it was slightly overpriced room for a casino. Few times there were no seats at a table but some not playing and watching their friend but were not asked to stand. Another pai gow table would be nice,it was busy all night. We have fun playing slots, however the machines were unfriendly & tight :-(. They could not honor the reservations we made on letsbookhotel.com. We booked a king room, they entered our reservation for the wrong night, so we ended up with a cheaper room with two doubles, but paid the same price. Showers were like sprinklers. The wait staff at the casino were rude and unfriendly at the garden oasis and the sports bar. Nothing. Indoor pool seemed kinda sad. Buffet was not standard shrimp was oily, crab legs were frozen. I wasn't told up front about charges that would be put on my credit card and held Also the bed was not comfortable at all, both of us had body aches and were up early because of it. room furniture needs updating, room seemed a little empty.Also needs wireless connections and premium cable channels. Nothing. Wished I could have gotten a Military discount like most hotels offer,,,,. Parking was difficult I had to park at the casino entrance. There were no room to park by the hotel. overall we had a great great time and we will be back. The resort fee was an additional cost and was not informed that a resort fee was going to be charged. Not enough game tables and several game tables I prefer to play were not there. The shower stalls could have been cleaner. no-A-thing!!. we didn't win on slots (he he ha ha). can not think of anything!!. I didn't like to fact I couldn't cancel the trip 24 hours before. Check-in is 4:00 P.M. I tried to cancel on-line @ 10:00 A.M. 2/27/2013 and was told that option was not available to me. When I checked in on Thursday, February 28, 2013 I was told I could had called and cancel. Again, I told the registra when I called to cancel; since I booked the trip on-line I had to cancelled. Very disappointed. For the amount of time you spend in the room and the amount of money you spend at the casino I think the room could be better priced. Pool was too small smelly. An outside pool would accommodate your Hotel. The pool area wasn't too clean and had a very bad smell. I think a pool on roof top would be better. Nothing to do with the hotel, but the mall doesn't compliment the hotel. They didn't clean my room daily. After i won dont know when to walk away. Was a little high priced for a standard hotel room. food. Michell restaurant lost our reservations. On valentine day. Did not act like they even cared.
