The restaurant served a wonderful breakfast (get the Benedict Florentine!), but it was not a free Continental style as we expected. The bar, and the bartender, were perfect for relaxing at the end of a busy day. There was a nice vanity in front of the bathroom and a full- length mirror near the door. I think this hotel has the best customer service of any I have ever visited (and I have stayed in many hotels in my travels). They can't do enough for you. The rooms are comfortable for the price and the location is fairly close to downtown Dallas (there is a shuttle, which is a great feature).
all reviews » Logan was excellent. He had every detail taken care of plus added tickets to an outdoor show and one breakfast buffet. His co-workers should emmulate his professionalism and attention to detail. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. I loved the convenience to the concert I went to see, the mattress in the room was awesome, and the nearby diner had great food. Staff was phenomenal as well. Very helping and friendly. Nice room, very comfortable, excellent staff! It is a bit outside of the downtown area but that was not really a problem as the Tramway is only 8 walking minutes away. I enjoyed how we did not have to leave for breakfast or dinner and even cocktails. Everything was there in the Hotel. The food was priced reasonable and it was good. The location is close to downtown area. There wasn't any noise. The room was fine and clean. Free shuttle around. No refrigerator in the room. The ceiling above the vanity had evidence of water damage, but no visible mold. The lightning in the room was a bit dim, with only a couple of lamps which did not help much. Also, there were no outlets convenient to the beds/nightstand. There is a pool but it sits in the tall shadow of the hotel so there is very little chance to sunbathe poolside. There is sometimes a sliver of sunlight to the side of the pool. Construction work was a little distracting during the weekdays. But progress is ever constant and present in day to day life. I wish there was a refrigerator in the room because I loved the food served at the diner next door; but had leftovers I still wanted after the concert. I did not like how everytime we left the room the key did not work upon return. That was a big inconveince, being on the fourth floor and having to go back down to the lobby to get the keys reactivated. We even had new keys issued and this still happened, wasnt able to access the room upon return unless we returned to the lobby to get access. :(. Need a car to visit a lot of areas in Dallas Lengthy journey from DFW airport to hotel if not using taxi. Approximately 40 dollars if using taxi. The D.A.R.T. running day and night right outside our hotel window was a bit annoying due to the noise. Please add more plug-ins on top of the desk for our electronics!!. A bit out of town but the shuttle bus will take you every 20 minutes and you just have to call for collection (although it took about 25 minutes as it was rush hour). Lack of English by housekeeping who let the hotel down by their lack of understanding requests. Noisy guests shouting outside room which woke us up twice. When reported to front desk they did resolve the problem but it was still an annoying event. terrible breakfast. heater wasn't working until i call front desk next day.they did fix it right of way. It was a little confusing to get to at first but once I got there it was easier to get around. limited restaurants close by. Coffee machine did not work in room. Misunderstanding concerning shuttle duty. Nothing. Buffet breakfast only available when hotel was full. On last day hotel was nearly empty and so no buffet breakfast available. there was nothing outstanding. The faucet in the bathroom sink wasn't aligned with the drain. Looked like shoddy work. No safe in the rooms, not much that made it "cushy" or extravagant. The housekeeping staff doesn't speak English, didn't clean up our room the first night. Breakfast is a bit expensive and the included breakfast is very poor. We felt that the room was not always 100% clean, and there was a vile smell around the vending centre on our floor. Rooms felt very old and in need of remodeling. Didn't like that your hotel didn't provide free continental breakfast... Terrible shuttle service & I chose this hotel because of the proximity to the hotel I got no loyalty card points as I booked through a 3rd party! The hinge on my bathroom door was bust The bathroom was not cleaned throughly. The clientele and the whole lobby smelled like smoke. There was a guy that kept walking around without a shirt on and carrying a beer can... All tattoo'd up. Real classy. I'm currently in a disoute with holiday inn market center because they are not honoring the hotel room rate you had confirmed. I will contact you shortly. The bathroom amenities and the towels were removed but not replaced. It was very far from all tourist attractions. The hotel is not located in a good place and there is a train noise 24h, 7 days a week. The staff took an hour to bring another hairdryed, because ours in the room was not working. Than they gave us some free stuff on the restaurant to make up for us. To pay for breakfast Small windows Gap below the door. Expensive for the room I booked. It was not clean at $99 per night ,there should have been free morning breakfast. There was a 2swts of train tracks. There was hair in the tub, the carpet was absolutely filthy. The ice maker didn't work and the credit card machine didn't work on the coke machine.
