The owner upgraded our room to facilitate us needing extra beds. They also provided the extra towels at no charge. I would stay here again. Very fairly priced. I loved the size of the room. I will stay there again when I come to Columbia,MO. Clean and comfortable. Will stay there again. Comfortable beds loved the view. Three queen beds. Inexpensive. Close to Stephens College. Fridge and microwave in room. Breakfast available.
all reviews » Price was right We had a room with three queen beds. Liked the heater fan in the bathroom. The rooms were clean and the sheets were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The price is okay. The room seemed to be clean. The breakfast was okay. A good price for a one night stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Great to have 3 double beds in room for family. Quiet. It was the best we could do considering the last minute changes made to our stay. The ac did work well. We were the only guests there! They were nice people but just not worth the price at all!. It is inexpensive, and the room itself was clean and had nice furniture. Nice location, close to many restaurants, close to interstate. Water in sink took even longer to get hot. Bathroom window was open (brrr...) and fridge wasn't plugged in when we checked in. Room - especially the bathroom - need updates. Old, hard to work faucet fixtures. Old,hard bed. Stale cereal and donuts for breakfast. Loud ac had to run all the time to keep away smell of old carpet and comforter. It is older and seems to not have much money being spent on upkeep such as problems with faucets. Communication can be difficult. Outdated décor and not as clean as it should have been, the shower pipe work was coming away from the wall. Limited breakfast food choices. The decor is outdated and could use some sprucing up. Could have been cleaner for the price. It is a very old motel, I would say from the 50's and needs updating badly. I thought I had requested a non-smoking room. The breadfast consisted of two cereals and orange juice. The linnens left something to be desired. The shower did not work. I will definitely make sure of the reservations I need way ahead of time next time. This would be the last choice on my list, but it served its purpose this time, but just barely!. Water faucet and shower were broken and you had to fight to turn them on. Gum on headboard. Beds uncomfortable. Very expensive for quality of Motel. No soda or snack machines that worked. The owner was cooking in his restaurant came to help in office and never washed hands. Dead roaches in bathroom ( at least they were dead.) I can go on all day. There is debris around the stairwell and we were on the second floor and the balcolny sloped at an angle and the wooden steps didn't seem safe. A small garden snake surprised us on the first trip up to the room! The TV remote was broken and we could only get one channel, the CW of all things. The office staff don't seem to be fluent English speakers, so it's difficult to know if they understand what you're saying or asking for. Motel is run down, badly in need of repairs or remodeling. Breakfast was late. Staff (owner?) appeared to be in his underwear while setting up breakfast. Could not get WiFi to work (was not important, so I didn't ask for help). Filthy!! Ashes behind the bathroom door in a non smoking room that reeked of smoke. I was hesitant to even sleep there, but that is all we did there. The rest of the time we found other stuff to do. not terrible, but not as clean and nice as other low-priced hotels I've stayed in. Details like upkeep and maintenance, poor craftsmanship on walls, furniture, and paint job across the board are works of a poor amateur. Those working behind the counter badly need customer service training. I never saw a smile on any face and any attempt at eye contact throughout my stay. The so called continental breakfast is a total sham. Charging $230.00 for three nights at such a deplorable place is an act crime. Room smell terribly, like ashtray (I am a smoker). The bulb burned after the second time I switched it on. No internet connection at all. That place might be the core of the prostitution of the city. People were yelling during the night. They should close that place or at least not be listed on letsbookhotel.com. No clean towels and bed covers were filthy. It was filthy, there was a used wash rag on the bathtub faucet. It was cheap & it smelled awful. It was a dive. I paid 129.00 and there were many rooms available. When I went on line they said that was the only room available. That was not true. I had a reservation for next week and cancelled it. I would not recommend this to any one. They have a glass wall when you check in. I can't believe that this hotel is on your list. I remember when sixty dollars used to rent a very decent hotel room. Not anymore as evidence by my recent stay at the Eastwood. The place is owned by Indians who barely speak English. They charged us $133.50 in spite of the fact that I had your printout with a price of $49.99 per night + tax. It was dirty and run-down. We did not use the beds. We slept on the beds but used our sleeping bags. We did not have hot water most of the time, but did get hot water for 2 people to shower in the morning.
