The room was very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff was amazing, and very friendly. My husband and I got sick and we needed to stay an extra day. all reviews » Most comfort stay I have ever had in the U.S. We originally booked for one night, but after checked in, we immediately felt in love with this nice hotel and decided to extend to another night. Nick at the front desk was very professional and went beyond his duty to help us planning our second day of visit in Buffalo. All staff were friendly and courteous. We especially love the design and beautiful kitchen. We will definitely be back next summer or whenever in Buffalo. I highly recommend this . We are familiar with the Buffalo area so could easily make our way around. Used this as a base for visiting Darwin Martin Complex and shopping outside of downtown. Having 2 bedrooms for the price of one was very convenient. Full apartment is a nice feature even if we didn't really use it. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and a good rate. If you were attending a game it would be superb. Parking is available in the area for less. The lofts are great! Lots of room to spread out, your very own hip downtown condo. The two bedrooms allow for some Mom/Dad privacy from the kids and the tv room/living spaces allow everyone some elbow room. The bath is awesome, the beds comfy and even though we did not cook, the kitchen is very nice. I cannot say enough nice things about the front desk staff. They are friendly, knowledgable about the area and always willing to help. My husband and I stayed with my brother and wife while busy fixing up a rental house. We returned each night tired and weary and found a comfortable place to stay. Staff always cheerful and helpful. The discount for dinner and breakfast was a welcome benefit. We had booked for 2 nights but ended up having to stay another 2 nights and we were pleased to be able to stay in the same room....plan to make a return visit soon.....thanks. Also, incredible space for the price...two bedrooms with king beds, full bath, and a kitchen and living room with tv for the price of a typical-sized hotel room. Also: Wonderful location for a family to stay and walk over to the ballpark in the next block to catch a Buffalo Bisons game. This urban location felt safe and there is a big bar-restaurant next door to the hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and accommodated my grown kids and girlfriends. We had seven of us traveling and we had plenty of room. On other trips I'd book two rooms for twice the money. Went to a sabres game and the arena is within walking distance and the pearl street brewery is right next door. Breakfast at the deli was basically free. You can get a free continental or $5 off each order which covered the whole thing. This was probably the best stay on our vacation. The size of the rooms is overwhelming and everything is nice, new and clean. We were only two people and paid a very reasonable price. But u can easily have 4 ppl in there, which makes it even cheaper. The view is great and the architectural design was outstanding. If u are more than 4 people u can order an extra bed for little money. It's right in the heart of buffalo. The was an excellent facility for anyone to make use of. It is located in a beautiful city, Buffalo, ny. It is a fairly large town but not crowded and very peaceful most of the time. The facility was in excellent condition and the staff was very helpful. Hardwood floors, stainless steel kitchen, full size fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and even Kitchen island. I liked that it was like a 2-bedroom condo rather than just a hotel room. The room was very nice and the location was also very good.Just to be clear the room is one of the most well appointed that I have ever been in.....lovely design... I loved the amount of space! My daughter (resident of the city) and I hosted some of her 20 something friends for cocktails and they all wanted to live there!. There were only a couple of small things. First, the sign out side is very small and hard to see. We had to drive around the block 3 times before we saw it. Second and last is that is no food service. You have to go next door or get in your car and drive somewhere else. These are very minor things and will not stop us from going back there again and again. nothing. The location in downtown Buffalo was okay for us. Not much happening around there in the evening. They sort of roll up the streets. If you have transportation, it is easy to get around but parking is $20 extra per night through the hotel. Only downside is the loading area at the front door & parking. Street traffic makes it difficult to park and unload. Parking is behind the building but due to one way streets it's up and around and back down the block. Expensive parking at $20 per day. But not that unusual at any urban hotel. Parking is confusing. The hotel parking rate is overpriced compared to the nearby lots. Could have had better direction on parking but that's a nit. The dining table is too small. Buffalo isn't the nicest place to stay ;). No complaints. The parking is a little wacky. They are making the attempt to own the parking lot but until then this is the only downfall. N/A. Nothing. My only complaint is that the beds are rock hard but unless you have a back problem that requires otherwise then its not bad for a few nights. Rowdy wedding reception patrons on the ground floor. No fitness room but I really didn't expect one there. More lighting above sinks in bathroom would be helpful. Like all things in the city of Buffalo, parking was an issue. They offer parking in a close lot for $20 a day, but since I was gone most of the day I didn't see that as a bargain so I used off street parking. Had to go out each morning at 8am to feed the meter. We liked everything. We arrived in the evening and there was no parking available due to the close proximity of the hotel to the stadium. However, the gentleman at the front desk told us to pull up in front of the hotel to drop off our luggage. We then drove to Niagara Falls to see it illuminated at night. When we returned there was plenty of parking available in the surrounding lots which were unattended and we were not charged for parking. Wasn't anything to not like. No parking attached to the hotel. So, I kept my car on the street and spent $1.25. Our first morning there, we were awakened by a hammer-drill from the basement. We were on the 5th floor and I am sure they didn't think it would resonate that far up but it did. Other than that it was excellent. I think that the hotel would benefit from decorating the place with nice flowers,candles,pictures. They do not need to e expensive,but would give ambience to the place,. Everything was great, nothing that I did not like. Had issues with the gas fireplace, but the staff was right there to assist when called upon.... There was only one T.V. This was difficult with having young ones who wanna watch somethine else. At least one of the bedrooms would have been nice to have tv in. The only two drawbacks... One is that the fridge is a long walk from the living room if you're having a few beers. Lol. And if you plan on going to the brewery for dinner and you have plans, ensure to make a reservation with plenty of time to spare. It gets pretty busy. Other than that, it's an awesome place to eat and enjoy craft brews!. There was dirt/dust that was swept into the hallway and left there. Parking was not included and expensive at the hotel but cheap on the street. Wish it was closer to shopping. Parking is $20 is all the spots might be full. Parking can be challenging. Got a $35 parking fine while unloading bags from SUV outside taking into account there was a foot of snow on the road. Property is showing some wear. Housekeeping isn't completely up to keeping high-style basins sparkling. Parking is expensive or remote/on-street. Continental breakfast was shown as NOT being included in posted room rate. Nothing!. having to pay so much for parking!. Everything was top of the line except for short toilets! (tall boys are the only way to go) Parking is an issue but you are, at least, forewarned. Better lighting, Need TVs in bedroom and no artwork for such a large space. No parking unless you want to pay. On street is metered, parking lots are available near the stadium but charge by the hour. The hotel has a very limited amount of parking spots behind the building next door and charges $20. a night for the spots. Only draw back was the parking but it was a hugh problem..... No dislikes. The hotel lacks "a woman's touch", in that it is not homey and is a bit too pristine in lacking in color. Nothing. If you do end up cooking, which we did, you will discover the ventilation system is not optimal. We kept setting off the fire alarm. The number of dishes and cutlery are for 4 people (barely) -- no serving dishes, were to be found. And no tea towels, or dishcloths. No nightlife within walking distance which isn't ideal for the young couples looking for a nice bars to drink at. Fireplace did not work in first room ..and after changing rooms fireplace worked at first then would not restart. Unfortunate. Also second room only had one tub chair in the living room. Couch was not comfortable and couch was not at all comfortable for sleeping ...even for a pull out.... I liked everything about it.
